We had a wonderful stay at Kisiwa House and highly recommend it! The staff were incredibly warm, respectful, and welcoming, always going out of their way to make us feel at home. The cleanliness was top-notch, especially the bathroom, which was cleaned every day to a very high standard. Frank, the manager, was really helpful and arranged our tours of Stone Town and the spice farm, which were amazing experiences. The food was delicious, especially breakfast – always fresh and perfectly cooked (just be aware of the curious crows if you're dining outside ). We also appreciated the seamless airport pickup and transport service, which was easy to book through the hotel. A couple of areas for improvement: it would be great to have fans or AC in the lobby areas outside of the rooms. These spaces are beautifully designed and could be even more enjoyable with a bit of airflow. Additionally, the glass shower divider in our room could use a small seal at the bottom to prevent water from leaking into the bathroom, though it didn’t cause us any major inconvenience. Overall, Kisiwa House is an excellent choice. With its fantastic staff, prime location, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a perfect place for families and Muslim couples. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel, staff very attentive, nothing too much trouble. A special thank you to Ramadhani. Would highly recommend a stay here. Well located near town and beach and very quiet. Breakfast was lovely, rooms beautiful with four poster beds and mosquito nets. Everything you would need.

The perfect place to stay in Stone Town – we had a great 2-night stay. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, bed was really comfy, huge big modern shower, tasty breakfast and we also enjoyed a delicious Swahili dinner on the rooftop. The staff were lovely, very warm and friendly.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Kisiwa House! Von der außergewöhnlich herzlichen Ankunft bis zum Check-out hat sich das Team von einer unglaublich freundlichen und aufmerksamen Seite gezeigt. Das Haus selbst ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt den echten und authentischen Charme der Architektur Zanzibars in jedem Raum. Im gesamten Hotel wird höchster Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt. Auch die Lage war absolut überzeugend. Man geht wenige Minuten zu tollen Lokalen entlang des Strandes und auch die Altstadt mit ihren vielen Geschäften beginnt nur wenige Schritte von der Eingangstür des Kisiwa House. Dennoch hat man hier das Gefühl absoluter Ruhe und Geborgenheit. Der Aufenthalt war wirklich außergewöhnlich und ich würde das Kisiwa House jedem empfehlen und sofort auch wieder selbst buchen. Danke für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt!
