The Food was amazing. Really good. We finished each dish. However, moringa, which was in one of the dishes, is a laxative to those who don't usually ingest it. Annnnd the next day we were impacted by it. Overall a great tasting meal with more than my palate cleansed.

Varje rum olika med färgtema. Spektakulär!
Inget för handikappade på grund av alla trappor.

Et fantastisk valg.
Resturantene tilknyttet hotellet er utsøkt i smak til helt ok pris. Lokasjon veldig bra, det er også mulighet for å betale for bruk av svømme basseng på et nabo hotell rett ved. Spør i resepsjonen. Sjåføren til hotellet er en mann med stor kunnskap om historie og en historiefortelling i seg selv å sitte på.

cozy ambience
Great location in Stone Town, very cozy ambience and nice staff.
Fantastic outdoor bathroom.
Not very practical, many floors and no lift, beds very hard for our European body.
Hotel arranged band/music Friday evening, which unfortunatly disturbed many guests, as rooms do not have propper doors/windows.

Exceptional
This small hotel is in the middle of Stone Town, and it is beautiful. The staff are attentive, without being intrusive, the manager is so professional and knowledgeable, and the standard of comfort is of the highest order. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace and consisted of a wonderful selection of fruit followed by eggs and a pastry. We had the taster menu one evening, and it was exceptional. This is a very special hotel, and we had an unforgettable stay.

what a wonderful charming place, We just loved it! we had diner on the roof top the first night, the chef was super creative cooking local food, fantastic diner. the next day we had diner at the secret garden, wonderful location , great taste in decoration keeping the old wall and stairs. The team was very welcoming, and we highly appreciate the upgrade we were offered the Kate suite, absolutely stunning . Thank you so much to all the Emerson team.

Oppholdet var magisk! Fantastisk hotell med autentisk historie sentralt i Stonetown. Flott restaurert og møblert, med alle moderne bekvemmeligheter.
Hotellet har en virkelig førsteklasses restaurant ute på taket, og en svært god og hyggelig restaurant ute på gateplan.
Det aller beste med dette hotellet er personalet. Alle vi møtte var profesjonelle, hjelpsomme, vennlige og blide.
Dette var en av mine absolutt beste opplevelser. Jeg gir dette hotellet min varmeste anbefaling!
