The front desk staff was out of this world, he explained to us how to go about town and even gave us advice on how to interact with the locals. The breakfast was exquisite 😋 the rooms are very spacious.

No voy a puntuar las instalaciones del Retro Hotel porque no llegue a verlas. Teníamos una reserva y al llegar nos dijeron que estaban llenos y nos llevaron a otro hotel "de los mismos propietarios". El hotel en cuestión es Kekele Square, más en el interior de la ciudad antigua, encima de un bar con música alta hasta las 3 am. El segundo hotel era mucho peor, habitaciones pequeñas, baños sucios, sin toallas, en alguno funcionaba mal la ducha y salía el agua por todos lados... Pedimos cambio de una habitación y no nos dieron solución. Muy mala gestión y poco recomendable.

Wir waren vom 10.auf den 11.Oktober Gäste im RETRO . Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig,das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Alles in allem sehr angenehm und entspannt. Würden wir wieder buchen.

Run down. Not retro.
Just generally speaking, it was desapointing. The person in charge of registration was very rude to us. We Aldo overheard them speaking very curtly to other travellers. The place was very run down. The shower head broke off as soon as we turned the water on... Even though we had paid for our stay in full, we ended up finding another place to stay. Too bad. The location is good and the place looks charming from outside.
