This hotel was the biggest positive surprise! Nice, intimate and cozy with the friendliest staff! Felt like staying over at friends place. Amazing breakfast, fika and evening meal added so much extra value. Peaceful neighborhood but everything is within walking distance. This will definitely be our go to place whenever we travel to Stockholm! Tack så mycket!

Our modest room in this hotel was beginning to feel like home when we left after six nights. The staff were all welcoming and we loved the breakfast, fika, and supper options that were available daily. The lobby and dining areas are comfortable and inviting. The location was perfect for our needs and the waterfront and numerous sights and activities were in walking distance. The area has almost a residential feel to it and we felt very safe. If we go back, we would definitely stay there again. Our weather was perfect when we were there and we were out and about daily. However we know there is much more to see. Stockholm is a stunning, historic city. The hotel has an arrangement with a local cab company. I would suggest asking about that as they were much more reasonably priced than other companies we used.

We stayed at the Hotel Wellington for a week and had an excellent stay. Breakfast was very good with a huge array of choices. Coffee (from a machine; very hot) was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the dinners, which were also very good. There were numerous green salads each night. It was easy to make a meal of the salads if you didn’t want to eat the main dish. The room was not large, but the size was perfectly adequate. The room has a small patio which we enjoyed. Staff were very nice and helpful. We really liked the area: it was close to attractions but emptied out at night (although there were restaurants open). The only problem was that the mattress was very thin and not very comfortable.

To start, in a wonderful location, this hotel excels with the warm welcome, the ease of check in and the relaxed atmosphere. Then there is a lovely room, ours with a little balcony, and with everything you need. And I need to mention the lovely breakfast, the included dinner and the terrace for drinks. Finally, the wonderful staff who make all this hotel function so efficiently and cheerfully. And a big thank you to Isabelle and Nila for their exceptional service - they made a great stay a personally enjoyable experience. This is now the only place we stay on our annual trip to Stockholm.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Staff, location, room comfort, quality of the included breakfast and dinner. We had a group of 10 travelling together and being at this hotel made it feel like we were gathering at someone's home (someone who has a really great chef!). We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Kudos to the staff for creating such an environment!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights, and mostly enjoyed it. Buffett-style breakfast and supper were included; note that we were told by the hotel staff that they provide "supper" not "dinner", which was fine with us. The location is fine because it's close from the subway station. We also walked to Vasamuseet, which was really great. The room was fine, but I would say rather modest. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. My only real complaint is that they do not have their own fitness center/gym. My rating is 3.5 star. But most likely, I won't come back when I come to Stockholm next time since I want to explore different hotels with a bit higher quality.

Arrived for a 4 night stay. Check in was at 3 and we arrived 10 minutes before this, the room wasn’t going to be ready for another hour. We were fine about that but the receptionist was unhelpful and miserable (she was like this for the rest of our stay). The rest of the staff were very polite especially the receptionist who did eventually check us in. We were told our room was on the ground floor, first impressions is that the hall smelt of urine from the toilet. The room was tiny, but we did book a small double so can’t complain. There was a disgusting stain at the side of the bed. The luggage rack was falling off the wall. There was no safe but apparently you can use one in reception. The bathroom has to be the dirtiest I’ve ever come across. Mould all over the grout and shower, dust and dirt on the trim of the shower and floor. The hairdryer looked old and dirty. During our 4 nights the room/bathroom wasn’t cleaned. The towels weren’t changed and I had to ask for more toilet paper. I’ve never stayed anywhere where the room isn’t cleaned and towels not changed. It’s also a bit embarrassing going to reception asking for more toilet paper. Breakfast was ok, plenty of choice but it was so busy as there wasn’t much room. The evening meal changed each night and was tasty but again that was so busy. The coffee tasted like dishwater. Only 1 coffee choice and hot water from the machine. We ended up going elsewhere after breakfast to get a decent coffee. The hotel is situated in a lovely area with easy access to the main attractions and public transport. The room was extremely quiet at night which was great for getting a good nights sleep. My personal opinion is that I wouldn’t stay here again but if you wanted your evening meal included then it’s a bargain.
