Came here for a 1.5 weeks business trip; will not come back. On arrival, there was visible dust both on the floor and hanging from the air shafts. The bathroom sink is constantly clogging from running water. The silicone in the shower is old and brownish, the shower doors do not hold the water back, so you end up with a larger area of the bathroom flooded. The garbage sacks are super thin and easily leaking/broken. The worst is the noise the fridge makes, including at night - you sleep less than 1m apart from the fridge. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly and cool, there is a tiny gym including 3 machines (that is all) and you can help yourself to an umbrella, if needed. Cleaning is once per week, which is ok, but you do not get fresh towels or linen. Overall, too expensive for what you get, in my opinion.

It's quite a distance from the station, so it's a bit tiring to carry suitcases when it's snowing! But the breakfast was delicious. The room was a bit too small. It was a bit difficult to open the luggage for two people. There was no place to move around. The biggest problem was that the bed was too soft. When I slept, my whole waist collapsed, especially for those with lumbar disc herniation. Very unfriendly to people! Didn't sleep well all day. Other than that, everything else was fine. The location is above a shopping mall, which is quite convenient for shopping. It will be much easier if you know how to take the underground passage!

Gorgeous hotel located 30 seconds walk from the Stockholm Arlanda Express train staton! Incredible location for a traveler with heavy bags, and lots of taxis downstairs. Reception was super vibrant and helpful, really appreciated it given the 25 hours I flew. Breakfast hall staff were lovely, and the restaurant bar was fantastic I loved the seafood casserole. Room was clean and modern. Oh! And my favorite burger joint in the world, MAX, is just next door! Perfect experience, 100% coming back.

This hotel is magical. Ilse Crawford has worked her magic on the interior design. The two historic homes that comprise the property have beautiful detailing that has been preserved and enhanced. The staff are amazing. They make you feel so welcome and you can ask any one of them about anything and they will help you. I would put this on par with the Aman hotels - but a completely different vibe. At Amans you keep to yourself whereas at Ett Hem you feel like you are being welcomed into your friends home.

I experienced an ancient elevator and the service was very good

The hotel is located right in the main pedestrian street. The room we had was neat, beds were pretty comfy as well and there was no noise heard from the street even though we were staying in a room on the first floor. The breakfast was basic continental one. They will also pack you a breakfast to go if you leave early (we got a a couple of sandwiches and a few apples). The reception staff is nice and helpful (especially Nick). I will definitely stay there again during my next city break in Stockholm.

It was nice to stay for 5 nights and have a pleasant trip while resting well in a comfortable bed. It was close to T-Centrale, 4 metro stops away, and transportation to the airport was good. There was a variety of breakfast menus, and the staff continued to manage well, so I didn't feel crowded. I stayed for 5 nights very satisfied, thank you.

Based on some work colleagues suggestions I tried the Grand hotel for my latest visit to Stockholm. Not coming back to this hotel. Having been at the Eat Hem, the Sheraton Stockholm and the Miss Clara, this Grand is at the bottom of all of them. The rooms are small, the temperature inside them is freezing and the heating system is turned off, the service is poor and the food at the restaurants is extremely average. When I asked for a recommendation for a nice place for lunch they suggested the TAK. Absolutely disgusting restaurant, old, dirty and horrible combination of Swedish and Japanese (both cuisine I love, but not in this format). Lastly, due to a change of my business plans at last minute, I asked the front desk (Ylva) for a couple of hours delay on the check out. They came back stating that, if I wanted it, I would need to pay 30% more. 2 hours for 30% of the full day rate. What a special treat! When I complained about all what was wrong during my stay, 5 minutes later they came back to offer me the 2-3 hour extension for free, once I had already come out of my room. In summary, unpleasant stay, horrible experience in an hotel situated in a special location of one of my preferred cities. What a pity!

The location of this place is exceptional. It is located on the top of Stockholm Central Station, so tram, trains and Airport (Arlanda) Express are all right there. The hotel is modern and located centrally with great restaurants and other attractions. Yes, it is not in Gamla Stan, but we walked there easily, about 25 minutes. This place has all the shopping areas nearby as well. The rooms are way too small. It was just impossible for the 3 of us (Adults) and I wish there were bigger rooms. The breakfast is also good, (again, it grades only a 3.8 or 3.9 out 5 because, have stayed in other Scandinavian hotels where the breakfast was just too good [in the range of 4.5 to 4.8]). The hotel also loans bicycles to their guests and it is first come first served, which is very good. Hotel service staff are okay. I would stay here for the location and convenience, and around this area, this is one of the best. If willing to compromise on the location, then there may be other hotels that are better. Not sure.

Excellent location: 2-3 minutes walking distance to the central railway station, the city center and many shops, department stores, restaurants, bars, theatres… long inchecking time (a long check-in que), the breakfast buffe can be improved… A nice hotel which we recommend.
