We enjoyed our stay at Wyndham Beachfront. My wife received a pleasant surprise with a beautifully decorated birthday greeting in our room. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was good and the Vietnamese coffee was excellent. We enjoyed the private access to the beach with beach huts, deck chairs and cabanas scattered across the area. The main pool looked very inviting. The shuttle to Hoi An is very convenient and it took only 10-15 minutes to get there. Our room was spacious and clean. We did feel that a small coffee table would have been ideal. Night lights would also be a helpful feature. The overall property was well maintained and there was some ongoing renovation works.

The villa itself is stunning, with a modern design and luxurious furnishings. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The private pool was a fantastic addition, allowing for a refreshing dip at any time. While the villa offers kitchen facilities, I also enjoyed the breakfast provided each morning. The selection was diverse, featuring both local Vietnamese dishes and international options. It was a great way to start the day. I look forward to returning!

The hotel is very big which makes it a bit confusing during breakfast, very crowded and noisy. However during the day guests seem to go separate ways so we didn’t feel this overwhelmed at the pool or at the beach. Very nice pool and beach. Nice service, in the reception and in the pool/bar, all are very nice, attentive and willing to help.

We booked a 3-night ocean view family twin room for a family of 4, and checked in at around 6:30 on the first day. We were assigned to the 2nd floor, but the view was completely blocked by the structure. We went down to the lobby to request a room change, but they said there were no rooms available because they were late. We booked an ocean view, but the view was blocked by the structure, so we couldn't see anything. We asked to be moved to a higher floor, wondering if we had to stay like this for the entire 3 nights. They said that it was on the 5th floor, but the view was worse, and showed us a room where we could only see the walls... When we asked to change it tomorrow, they said there were no rooms available, and they didn't seem sorry. After that, I got angry and complained a little more, and they said they would let us know after talking to the manager. Then they said that there was a double room (a room with one bed, not a family room) tomorrow, so we could change to that room at 5 PM, and they would put in an extra bed. We can check in at 3 PM for general check-in, but we're changing to a double room at 5 PM..? I protested, asking if it was reasonable, and they said they would do it at 1 o'clock. Then I asked how they would compensate me for staying tonight, and they discussed it again.. They said they would give me a coupon for 320,000 won...mango bingsuㅋㅋㅋㅋ I was angry, but Korean communication was not smooth, and the staff's attitude was like everyone was getting the same amount of money and no one complained..The 5th floor room only had a wall, so they gave me the 2nd floor.. I felt frustrated, wondering why they were complainingㅎㅎ I felt like they had a poor understanding of the ocean view. I opened my eyes in the morning and the view outside the window was...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The next day, around 4 PM, they told me to come down after packing my bags and come down, saying they would give me a new room key (I thought they would just tell me to come get the key or give it to me...). The family all went down and then went back up. The extra bed was not softer, and it was too short for my tall husband, so I had to sleep uncomfortably with my feet out. I chose Shilla because there is no hot spring in Da Nang.. I really won't go there again.. Before the change I'll upload a comparison photo later

Compared with the Four Seasons Hotel where I have stayed before and nearby luxury hotels such as the InterContinental Da Nang, the basic room rate of the Four Seasons Hotel in Hoi An is as high as about US$800, but it does not provide corresponding value and experience. In this price range, expect a luxurious experience, however, Four Seasons Hotel Hoi An seems to have fallen short of those expectations. Firstly, the interior design and decoration of the rooms and public areas at Four Seasons Hotel Hoi An are decidedly less refined and impressive compared to nearby luxury hotels. While other luxury hotels often stand out for their unique architecture, exquisite artwork and sophisticated interior design, Four Seasons' design seems relatively bland and lacks personality. It even felt a bit mediocre, too hard, and not like the style of the Four Seasons at all. This prevents guests from experiencing true luxury and taste within the hotel. In addition, the quality and variety of breakfast at the Four Seasons Hotel are clearly inferior to those of surrounding luxury hotels. Other hotels in similar price brackets often offer more breakfast options and higher-quality cuisine as well as tranquil spaces. Guests often expect to experience unique cuisine at breakfast, but Four Seasons Hotel Hoi An failed to deliver this experience. All things considered, the Four Seasons Hotel Hoi An may not be the smartest choice for guests willing to pay a premium for a luxury experience. While nearby luxury hotels (Aman Nha Trang, InterContinental Da Nang, Regent Phu Quoc, etc.) offer a more refined and unique experience in a similar price range, Four Seasons Hotel Hoi An fails to live up to that standard. Therefore, I feel that the price of Four Seasons Hotel Hoi An is not worth paying. Of course, the hotel swimming pool and beach are very beautiful, but I personally think these two points are the only ones worth experiencing. It is better to just eat a coconut.

Villa has a beautiful environment and is far away from the hustle and bustle; the overall facilities of the hotel are new and clean. The breakfast is very diversified and tastes good, especially the Pho soup base. Only it is far from the city center, so you have to take a taxi whether from Da Nang or Hoi An city center. But that's what makes the hotel such a beautiful setting. What needs to be improved is the service attitude of the staff. On the first night, there was no power in the room, and I called the front desk three times to successfully arrange for staff to come to the room for repairs. On the morning of the day we left the hotel, we asked for a late check-out, and the front desk said they would get back to us as soon as possible to see if we could delay the check-out; however, they did not get a reply until we left the hotel room. Moreover, before we checked out, we called the front desk and asked the shuttle bus to wait in front of the Villa and take us to the front desk. When we saw the bus from the second floor of the Villa, we went downstairs immediately, but when we got underground, the shuttle bus had already left. In the end, we had to push our luggage to the front desk...
