Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Mid-size ground so I could watch my kids going between the pool and beach. Room is basic without a bath tub but spacious even with extra bed, well maintained and clean. Ground floor we stayed was very convenient and balcony space is generous.

My family and I just stayed at the JW Marriott in Khao Lak and had a fantastic experience! The rooms were spacious, with big, comfy beds and natural product toiletries. Every morning, the breakfast spread was delicious and varied, featuring freshly squeezed juices and authentic Thai coffee made with high-quality ingredients. The kid's area offered daily activities, and bike rentals were easy; I highly recommend biking around the beautiful gardens. The service was friendly, efficient, and attentive. The pool area was impressive—it's the biggest pool I've seen at any property! Plus, direct beach access was a wonderful bonus. If I return to Khao Lak, I would definitely stay here again with my family!

Nice hotel, more family oriented. Lots of pools and entertainment for kids. Children's room, very cool. Breakfast was Included and dinner buffet was 550 baht. Will definitely come back again )

My overall experience was absolutely amazing. From the moment I arrived, every staff member greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. The team went out of their way to make me feel welcome and relaxed, providing great hospitality at every turn. In particular, I have to mention Khun Kath – her kindness, attentiveness, and friendliness truly stood out and made my stay extra special. I always felt like a valued guest thanks to her wonderful service and the positive attitude of the entire team. My room was perfect in every way: spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully appointed. The room had all the amenities I could possibly need. I really appreciated how well the room was maintained and how everything just worked. It was a peaceful space where I could unwind fully after a day of exploring the resort’s activities. Speaking of activities, everything was very well organized. The resort offered a great range of fun things to do, and each activity was managed smoothly. My morning, the delicious breakfast which had a good variety of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, and more. One small note: the grill restaurant was just average.

The room was clean, the service was excellent, and the amenities were complete. It wasn’t far to walk to the beach, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The breakfast was okay, though there were a bit too many Indian dishes. Overall, everything was great—it was a very impressive my experience.

One of the highlights of our stay was the Italian beach restaurant, which served truly delicious food in a wonderful setting. Additionally, the breakfast was excellent, boasting a fantastic selection and complemented by incredibly attentive and friendly staff who made our mornings a pleasure. However, we did have some concerns regarding the main pool located near the beach. During our visit, it appeared that extra pumps were running, seemingly indicating an issue with its cleanliness, as we chose not to swim in it. This was a bit disappointing, as the pool's beachfront location is a major draw. It's worth noting that the hotel still feels relatively new, and while the staff were generally pleasant, it was evident that some are still in the learning process. This was our second visit to the resort, and on both occasions, we were surprised by the lack of any visible management interaction with guests. A simple check-in or check-out greeting from a manager can significantly elevate the guest experience and was noticeably absent. Overall, the Khao Lak Marriott Beach Resort & Spa has the potential to be an exceptional destination. The beautiful accommodations, fantastic Italian restaurant, and outstanding breakfast are significant positives. Addressing the cleanliness concerns with the main pool and increasing management visibility would undoubtedly contribute to a more consistently excellent guest experience. We hope to see these areas addressed in the future.

Our first time to Avani+. We were surprised by the location and amenities of the hotel. The location is by the main road. It is convenient for guests to cross the road to the supermarket to get snacks or drinks. Amenities wise are excellent for kids and adults. There are plenty of activities for guests to do, such as rock climbing, arcade, basketball, and skateboard . However, I just feel the pools available are too small. It is low season in khao lak and I already feel it is too crowded. Cleanliness in the room could be improved. The housekeeping only sweeps the floor and does not use a vacuum. After cleaning our rooms, I saw hair in the toilet. Overall, I would recommend Avani+ to family traveling with children.

Was booked as a birthday treat. If you like organised activities and timetables then it's for you. On arrival they asked for passports, out to the car to get, then voucher, out to the car to get, then a copy of my credit card. Really was not happy with that and thought it unnecessary as they had details from booking as the room was paid for,it made me very uncomfortable. The main swimming pool was large but had only one place to get in so was a long walk. We ate outside the hotel at one of the many less expensive restaurants. Our view from our room in block 13 overlooked a dilapidated roof of the Thai themed restaurant, didn't compel us to eat there. The room itself was comfortable and clean and we loved the dressing gown, it's our thing. WiFi around the resort was good. Sunset memorable. A great place for families that like a package holiday. Not for us.

The hotel is amazing! I am delighted! Everything is on the level! Maintenance, cleaning, cleanliness and well-groomed territory! This is a heavenly place 😻 The beach at the hotel is the best, very beautiful and picturesque, squirrels run around the hotel) The breakfasts are amazing! The hotel area is huge, very pleasant to walk around. There are a lot of different sports activities. Beautiful pools. We will definitely return to this hotel!

Very good service, attentive to customers, spacious rooms, full facilities, but secretly shocked by the bat on the roof of the balcony of the room. Makes me not dare to go out and sit on the balcony, but with the nature of Thailand, I understand that we live together
