"This is a unique log cabin hotel in the Kurdenin Scenic Area. Remember to call and provide your license plate number when booking, or you won't be able to enter the scenic area and need to buy a ticket. There's parking at the entrance, but you need to call the front desk to get in and ride the hotel's electric cart across a stream. The hotel facilities are quite good, with a cafe in the lobby. The owner has a chubby Shiba Inu and provides photo props for checking in. Wooden paths connect the cabins in the campground. Staff will transport luggage by tricycle, but access is by foot. There's a restaurant in the middle of the campground, offering a delicious buffet breakfast with a wide variety of options, including glutinous rice chicken and steamed buns. I suspect the chef is from southern China. Lunch and dinner can be ordered from the restaurant. A wooden trestle bridge connects the two sides of the gorge for pedestrians, and you can climb to the observation deck for a breathtaking view. The room facilities are relatively complete, but there is no refrigerator. There is also a humidifier, bathtub and shower in the room. Each cabin has an open-air balcony where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. There are electric double bed curtains and a projection screen TV. It is very comfortable to watch a movie in bed at night. Most of the hotel staff are locals and very enthusiastic. When we arrived at the dinner restaurant in the evening, it was closed and only barbecue and baked noodles were available. We asked casually that the staff were eating watermelon and they immediately cut a plate for us."

The front desk had a gentle attitude, and the other staff were playing with their phones with their heads down. Suddenly, I thought I had come to a certain service area to use the toilet. The service content of the entire camp is basically 0, and there is a feeling of inaction. It was snowing heavily and the road conditions were bad, but I was forced to check out. I was really impressed! First of all, I still have an hour before check-out time. Secondly, there are no guests at this time. It’s snowing in the mountain and transportation is inconvenient. Isn’t there any consideration of humanistic and environmental factors at all? Now is the peak season, are you in a hurry to check out and clean up so that the next group of tourists can check in? Yesterday, I was the only guest staying in the entire campground! Only the scenery is beautiful. It happened to snow in the morning. Compared with the camp in Saihu where we stayed the day before, it was so different that it made people feel quite disappointed. ps: I don’t know how to raise the cats here. A skinny Siamese is very dear to me, but it’s dirty and drinking dirty water from the roadside! I communicated politely throughout the whole process and did not embarrass the staff. There are not many types of breakfast but with Xinjiang characteristics. There are many restaurants in the bustling area of ​​the county within 10 minutes by car. "Hotel seems newly built with finishing touches still being added to it. Room is large and view is picturesque - pity the windows are not well cleaned or the view would have been even better. Shower area could be better designed as there was water seepage to the dry area after a shower. Toilet bowl was impressive - flush could be controlled using leg movement. Wi-Fi was non existent and internet connectivity was poor. Bed was large, but pillows could be much firmer. Given the remote location, hotel can do with a gym and/or spa. Breakfast was delicious - good spread that featured an assortment of fresh fruit - dragon fruit, bananas and apples alongside local dishes such as potatoes. The noodle station provided a piping hot bowl of noodles and a good selection of condiments - tomatoes with egg, coriander, spring onions etc."

The hotel is also the closest major hotel to the scenic area, only two kilometers away, and there are numerous restaurants right on the doorstep. I can't praise enough the hospitality of the owner and front desk staff! On our first day, taxis were scarce in town, and we were struggling to get to the Kurdenin scenic area. The front desk lady immediately helped us contact local acquaintances and busied herself finding a ride. Later, the owner learned about our situation and drove us around the scenic area, enthusiastically sharing stories along the way. It felt more like being treated by old friends than staying in a hotel. This kind of genuine help was more heartwarming than any fancy decor. The owner and staff made the entire trip truly heartwarming. If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and friendly place to stay in Kurdenin, this is the place to go! The attention to detail will definitely make you want to come back for a second time."

"An objective review of this hotel's pros and cons. Pros: Located within the Kurdenin scenic area, the view is stunning. The room's soft furnishings are atmospheric, the toiletries are of high quality, the included dinner, breakfast, and afternoon tea are meticulously prepared and delicious, and the hotel is very cat- and dog-friendly. Cons: The room had a strong sewer smell, which was particularly noticeable on rainy days. While the room itself isn't particularly small, the bathroom layout is poorly utilized, resulting in a very small bedroom. Opening two suitcases can interfere with opening and closing the door, and the mattress is small, making it easy to bump into the corner of the bed when walking around. I added the hostel's WeChat inquiries after booking and before check-in, but received almost no response, so I had to call for any inquiries. There's no dryer, so I washed clothes on the first day but they weren't dry, so I had to use a hairdryer the next day. One downside: There's no massage or spa; a massage after a horseback ride would have been perfect."
