We have just come back from Nikos and have had a wonderful week. The best thing about this place is the hospitality, especially Effie, Van, their 2 daughters and the lovely man who served our breakfast , which we had every day and it was lovely. We could say many other good things about this hotel but the main thing was the owners and the other guests, who come back year after year , which says it all. This was our first visit here but hopefully will not be our last. Thankyou Nikos apartments! X

jacco van der weide 1/5 15 minuten geleden op Google Toch nog een lastminute weekje Kreta boeken was ons plan. Via *********** gezocht naar een locatie. Nikos apartementen kwam er per recentie heel goed uit! Geboekt en met heel veel zin die kant op gegaan. We hadden een late vlucht en werden echt heel erg onvriendelijk en ongeinteresseerd ontvangen door een oudere vrouw die er echt helemaal geen zin in had. Bij binnenkomst troffen we echt een heel oude, vieze kamer aan met echt een heel slecht bed.De veren sprongen om je oren en het was heel vies. We hebben geen oog dicht gedaan en dezelfde nacht gelijk de beslissing gemaakt om te zoeken naar een andere locatie. Ons gevoel was heel slecht. We geven toe dat we ze geen kans hebben gegeven om ons een nieuwe kamer aan te bieden maar ons gevoel was niet oke over deze locatie. Dit werd voor ons alleen maar bevestigd toen we de volgende morgen uit gingen checken en ons verhaal deden aan een wel aardige medewerkster die toch even contact zocht met de eigenaar om aan te geven dat wij gingen vertrekken. Deze kwamen niet eens even vragen wat precies het probleem was en lieten ons zo gaan. We hebben hotel Pleasure Beach geboekt en een zalige week op Kreta gehad. Wij hebben ons verlies genomen maar willen toch laten weten dat voor ons de recenties niet helemaal kloppen en willen andere mensen de teleurstelling besparen.

Not a good experience really, the room we had was nothing like the rooms advertised or reviewed on here. It was dark, drab and dirty. The kitchen had grease and grime around worktops, cooker hood and fridge. There were stains on the floor near fridge. The cupboards were dirty and had not been cleaned. The wardrobes were shabby and had screws sticking out where the door knob used to be. The shower squirted everywhere, even onto the electric extractor, and the floor flooded every time you used it so was a slip hazard. The pool area looked ok at first, but some of the beds were broken and the grass was growing long under the sunbeds so not as manicured as the photos. I am sure the other rooms were fine, just be careful as you might not get what you are expecting. From my experience, I would not recommend this accommodation. I am more annoyed with Thomas Cook though as they cancelled our original hotel a week before our holiday, and put us in Nikos. If our room had been like the pictures on their website we would of been happy, but it wasn't. I think its false advertising on their part, and they don't care. I paid for a far better hotel.

I have been coming to Nikos apartments for 20 years. When I first came to Nikos I was a teenager travelling with my family and I am still returning 20 years later with my family and Fiancé. Nikos apartments will give you the best holiday and you will leave counting down the days until you can return. Van, Effie, Kleo and Fofi make our holiday extra special from the daytime entertainment, to the delicious food and amazing cocktails. Nothing is ever too much and they will go above and beyond to make your holiday extra special. I can’t wait for my next holiday at Nikos and all the years to come.

My family and I have been coming to Nikos for 20 years. Recently we thought maybe it was time to try somewhere new. We were filled with disappointment and regret as nothing will ever compare to Nikos. Effie, Van and the family make Nikos apartments extra special for anyone who visits. If you want to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful Stalida then there is no better place than Nikos Apartments. We will be back next year!

I first went to Nikos when I was 4 years old and I am still returning now almost 30 years later. I have stayed at Nikos with my Mum and Dad, with my brothers, on my own and now with my fiancée and family. This goes to show what the perfect place Nikos apartments is for anyone travelling to Crete. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere at Nikos creates the perfect holiday where you will make friends and family for life. Van, Effie, Kleo and Fofi make the perfect team and make Nikos apartments the place everyone wants to return.

When I first travelled to Stalis I was worried what would I eat? However, at Nikos they will accommodate for all fussy eaters like me. Their locally sourced food and home grown salad and vegetables are expertly cooked by the best chef Fofi and her team. Nikos apartments has been the perfect place for me for over 15 years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Yet another fabulous holiday After many years of coming to Crete as a family we have said we would try the Greek night in Mochos and so we kept to our word this year. Once we mentioned this to Kleo at the bar she was on hand to arrange it all for us. She arranged transfers to pick us up and bring us back for a group of 12 people, along with a restaurant reservation with a perfect location and delicious food. The Greek night is a must and one all of the family will enjoy. Everyone at Nikos apartments are always on hand to help whether it’s arranging a night out or a great night around the bar with family and friends.
