Villa Ritsa

First stayed here in 2002 and loved it then. Fast forward 22 years and I'm still booking Villa Ritsa. Lovely family run apartments, always a happy face serving breakfast from a smiling and very cheerful Polina. Manos serving ice cold wine with a handsome smile later on. The owner Minas is a darling. Very smiling and happy chap. Rooms incredibly clean and well serviced. Showers utterly fabulous. So powerful. I had clean sheets and towels regularly so a big thankyou to the ladies who serviced my apartment. The pool area is amazing. Very comfortable and modern sun loungers. Pool itself is spotless and the water is tested daily. Snack bar has lovely snacks/lunches. I can recommend the cheese omelettes! Honestly.....this place is so lovely to stay. Yes there's a bit of road noise but that doesn't annoy me one bit. Looking at previous reviews there are the usual suspect "complainers". Obviously nothing else to do but find fault. Time wasters aren't they?

Clean and tidy place. Staff very friendly Basic place to stop very minimal thing for self catering no toaster short of utensils etc which would help as didn’t want to eat out every morning didn’t change towels whole week we was there near a main road. And was noisy of a night

Rooms very clean , bedding and towels changed every 4 days , bins emptied every day Upstairs apartment nice and big Beds very comfortable Shower is right next to the toilet ( which gets very wet ) also floods around the toilet and the floor the bath mat does mop up all the water, not great for drying your feet in after your shower ! One cooking element , no toaster . Balcony is long but if your after a lovely view at the end of the day then your be disappointed you look over next doors residential property. Bottom floor no balcony and no privacy you have table and chairs outside in a communal area, so no sitting in your bra and knickers after a shower , Tv in the room but no English Channels ( I know you don't go away to watch tv but a bit of sky news in the morning to see what's happening in the world ) Traffic noise from the busy main road , Small pool , lots of sunbeds and no sunbed wars Your about 10 minutes from the sandy beach and many lovely restaurants and bars All in all we did have a good stay just a few things was not right for us

Just home from a two week stay at villa Ritsa, arrived at 1am to a note on the reception door to tell us what room we were in and key was inside, got no welcome in the morning. After two weeks we still only knew one member off staffs name and that was Manos who was the only one who made time to make conversation.Apartment was very clean though the second week we only had one towel and bed change. Jet two states balcony or terrace which on the ground floor is a table and two chairs outside your front door on pathway to all other apartments.Pool is right next to a very busy main road so heavy traffic noise all day, not very relaxing again not stated by Jet two in description. The worst part for us was for three days prior to our departure we asked if we could keep our room on as we had a late flight and kept getting told to come back later as I’m busy, as we never got an answer we left our room at 10am (checkout is 12am) to be told by the female that at 5pm we would get a room with clean towels to shower in and get changed, she left at 4pm everyday and when we went to get the key at 5pm was told there wasn’t any room available but were told we could use an old apartment that was a storage space jam packed with whatever could be thrown in it and a shower room that was filthy, we used the shower head to wash hands and face as would not have stood in the dirty shower tray. Ate lunch a few days and a couple off breakfasts which were ok. Basically if you book a 2star accommodation you get a 2star service so won’t be doing that again and unfortunately wouldn’t return or recommend.

Our 3rd time at the villa Ritsa, and we're back next year, It's a great place, brilliant staff always there to help you if any problems. Good food at reasonable prices. Lovely pool, spotless clean. Excellent location a safe small walk into the town. We've been many times to Stalis and can honestly say this is the best place we've stayed.

we stayed at the Villa Ritsa in late August for 2 weeks. The hotel really grows on you the more your there. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed and the staff are really lovely people. Minas and his family run a really good hotel. The staff, Manos & Christina are lovely people and really make you feel welcome. We stayed in a family room (room 103) on the 1st floor. The room was spacious, with the main room with 2 single beds and then the bedroom also had 2 single beds, with a hallway joining the 2 rooms with a modern bathroom off the hallway. The pool are is spotless and there are ample loungers. The cleaners keep the place really clean also. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and the cocktails are a lot stronger than the ones you get on the main *****. The Mai Tai was our favourite. You are only a few minutes walk to the main beach area and the main ***** road. There is a launderette and a supermarket just 200m down the road which is great. Maria in the supermarket is lovely, and the laundry is 5 euros for a full load of washing, which is very handy to have so close. Overall, we loved our stay here so much that we will be booking to come back as soon as we can. Villa Ritsa and Stalis in general is a fantastic place..... we will be back!!!
