So, where to start on this review. I really want to write a fair review of what we experienced and why I have rated this 3 stars. Most of the blame falls on Jet 2 and their descriptions. We have used Jet 2 for the last 6 years and had 3 good holidays, two pretty good and then this one. The main problem is Jet 2 lists this as a 5-star hotel when in actual fact it is a 3* Plus maybe a 4* on a good day. I expect if you managed to book this cheap with the expectation of a 3 star you would be very pleased but when you have paid 5-star money it really falls short. The main selling point is the location which is perfect. Stalis is a beautiful beach and has wonderful restaurants all the way along the *****. The infinity pool is super nice if you can get a sunbed near it. The staff are really helped by Joanna and Chloe who are superb in keeping everyone’s spirits up and really need to be commended for their energy. We arrived to what can only be described as an ambush. On arrival there was no explanation of what we had paid for as an all inclusive or where to find the things we had included in the price. It was an immediate drive to upsell to a better room which we needed to do now as otherwise we would miss it. We hadn’t seen the rooms we had already paid for, but we sort of agreed as they were quite insistent it was really good. They then proceeded to tell us about the paid restaurants in the hotel and how good they were and the pay for spa. We left for our rooms with no idea what was included and where we could get it from but £600 lighter. This was a theme through the holiday, a constant feeling that they wanted as much money out of you as possible whilst doing whatever they could to keep their costs down on what you had paid for. The Seaview rooms where nice and had wonderful views but suffered as all the rooms did from a ludicrous lack of wardrobe space. We spent our time there living out of suitcases as you simply could not put all your clothes away. 3 small drawers and one rail is nowhere near enough for 2 adults for a 10-day holiday. I bring very little clothes on holiday comparatively but even on my own I think I would have struggled. The food is very hit and miss. It’s all a bit canteen. It is generally warm to cold and almost always overcooked. The grilled fish was so dry it was like cardboard. Again, you felt they were trying to save money – cheap chicken cuts, cheap fish, cheap pork cuts, always a cheap spag bol on every night and other cheap mince dishes. We had a direct comparison with the 5-star Iberostar we stayed at last year and the food was like night and day comparing the 2 hotels, how Jet 2 thinks they are both 5 Star is baffling. The desserts were very nice and really the only constantly good part of the food offering. The other really poor part was the effort to get a drink at breakfast, lunch or dinner. We are not talking alcohol here just basic water for the family. Its 32 degrees outside and they seemed to be on a mission t

It was a very nice vacation, some improvements in the hotel would be good, e.g. Eating and equipment of the rooms. The best was the service and the friendly nature of Barmann Arian, he is a top class, I can't imagine a better employee .

Stayed at the stalis hotel in stalida crete. The rooms were kept immaculate, cleaned every day, the staff are very polite and friendly, Bar staff brilliant, chefs amazing, We paid all inclusive, and we were apprehensive about the level of food, But I can honestly say, the food was delicious every day and different every day, freshly cooked by the chef. The all inclusive drinks are soft drinks and house wine, beer and vodka, Shame they dont rum include too, The location is fantastic, literally 100yards from the beach, and surrounded by good nightlife. Not too busy, yet not to quiet, a nice buzz. Shops are a plentiful. They need to include free sunbeds on all inclusive, that is my only criticism as, you can spend approximately 24 euros a day just on sunbeds. They charge 8 euros for 2 and an umbrella then an extra 6 euros for an extra bed. Be up early to reserve your beach loungers though, as its gets very busy. Plenty of cocktail bars within feet of the hotel. Above all the ita a fantastic hotel, amazing staff, fabulous food and good times. Thank you stalis hotel for giving us a memorable holiday!!!

We had a very nice stay at this hotel in Crete! The property is spread out across several buildings. Our room was small, but spotless and cleaned daily — everything was very well maintained. The food was good, with plenty of variety at each meal, and always fresh. A special mention goes to Arian, the bartender by the pool — he was incredibly friendly, welcoming and truly the highlight of this hotel.

Brilliant hotel!! Everyone was so accommodating, friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you. Despina was so kind and so respectful. Arian in the pool bar and Mario were both really funny, friendly and both make banging cocktails! Leonardo was also very funny and we felt like we were among friends. Rooms was beautiful with sea view. Food was nice, but weirdly, wasn’t labelled so sometimes we had no idea what the dishes were. We still tired the food and the it was nice. Overall, it was on a perfect location, and I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location in the center of Stalis. Our room was in the building where the beauty salon is, a short distance from the main road with bars, shops, and restaurants. Despite this, it was a quiet place, and there was nothing to disturb us. The room is smaller, but completely adequate—who spends their vacation in their room anyway? Breakfast in the restaurant was great, with a wide selection of everything. The best rating goes to the great bartender Arian, who is very nice, pleasant, always smiling, and will prepare excellent drinks for you all day long! Thanks Arian again for the good memories. You made our holiday the best
