2-Star Hotels in Spring Lake

Honestly this hotel probably wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't a den for drug dealers and **********s. The hotel at a first glance looks ok, the rooms are in good order and the shower pressure is good, but when you stay there for 3 weeks straight it becomes very clear that there is a lot of illegal stuff going on, and not to mention its pretty much a truck stop, with large tractor trailers parked outside constantly. One morning a woman walked into the hall way, stripped naked and harrassed one of my travel companions, the police was called in after she broke a window. The walls are paper thin and you can here pretty much everything from all adjacent rooms and most of the hallway. but there is free breakfast... I will say the staff is friendly though

Right outside base, lots of amenities around despite the questionable town.

Check in was pretty easy and fast. The hotel isn't in an ideal location if you don't drive. Walking to the mall is a little ways away but there is a shop across the road but it's pretty tricky to get across the street. The room was a good size but you don't get any extra toiletries such as tooth brush, comb, etc so make sure you have your own. The hallways did smell like smoke and the gym is on the bottom floor but was out of order my whole stay.

How I wish we could have extended our stay … We had a short stay in Fayetteville on the way south and selected this property based on reading some reviews.
