La mia esperienza in questo hotel è stata purtroppo negativa. Ho trovato peli di gatto in giro per tutto l’hotel perché ci sono due gatti che vivono sui divani nella “hall”, il che è inaccettabile per una struttura che dovrebbe garantire standard di pulizia. Questo è particolarmente problematico per chi, come me, è un soggetto allergico. È davvero importante segnalarlo, poiché potrebbe rovinare il soggiorno di altre persone. Peccato, perché l’hotel è situato in una posizione centrale e avrebbe molto potenziale. Le stanze sono datate e andrebbe fatta una ristrutturazione generale.

I've wanted to stay here for years and I finally had the chance. This place is a real gem with just a few rooms!! Of course, the inside would need some finishing touches but I loved its slightly outdated look. The large window overlooking the bridge is beautiful. The structure is all staggered into various floors which are accessed via a large staircase. Every room smells of history and beautiful people. However, I found a bathtub in the bathroom (it seemed recently renovated). ..in my opinion it should be replaced by a nice, practical shower. The housekeeper and the manager are exquisite. We will definitely be back

Scenic location and convenient for Centro. Older hotel but clean. Was great for our one night stay, passing through. Breakfast good. Staff good. Not sure what parking options are like in peak season.

Hotel dallo charme incredibile, camere con vista sul ponte delle due torri, la migliore di Spoleto. Grandi artisti che hanno soggiornato in questo hotel dall’arredo autentico ed elegante, molto meglio di qualsiasi hotel moderno e senz’anima. Ottima prima colazione e personale gentilissimo. Un unicum dal grande rapporto qualità prezzo.

This hotel is an experience. You feel like you've been transported back to the 60s. Everything has style and culture. Only philistines think it should be renovated. I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone interested in architecture and interior design. Luchini Visconti, Britt Ekland, Roman Polanski just to name a few who stayed here.

Magnificent location, multi-storey hotel nestled on the hill below the fortress. Very convenient for visiting the city. Staff available to answer all our questions. Slightly magical and out-of-time rooms, with historic furnishings and breathtaking views. Nice breakfast space, in the warmer periods I think you can stay in a nice space outside. We'll be back. P.s. you can get there by car (if you are not afraid of narrow streets!)

La struttura è in un'ottima posizione, all'inizio del tratto senza auto che gira sotto la Rocca Albornoziana e prosegue accanto al Ponte delle Torri, ed è una villa antica. Il personale è cordiale e molto disponibile. La struttura però è un po' vintage, sia negli arredi che nelle condizioni: avrebbe necessità di una poderosa manutenzione. Abbiamo avuto compagnia per tutta la notte del traffico della Flaminia, visto che le camere non sono insonorizzate. La camera è piccola, il letto occupa parecchio spazio non permettendo di accedere agevolmente al bagno. Rete e materasso da sostituire, visto che hanno un notevole avvallamento. Bagno piccolino, ma da risistemare e da pulire: abbiamo notato cinque capelli sparsi un po' ovunque, sul muro, sul lavandino, sul bidet, sul piatto doccia. Se venisse fatta la manutenzione adeguata diverrebbe un gioiellino

Weekend di novembre, prima volta a Spoleto e soggiorno in questo posto carico di storia, natura e fascino! L'albergo è semplicemente meraviglioso, la vista dalle grandi finestre è stupefacente a qualunque ora del giorno, ma l'atmosfera dell'albergo completa la cornice. Arredamento caldo e accogliente, parquet ovunque , camere spaziose e comode e la cosa che si nota subito è la pulizia impeccabile . L'albergo si disloca in uno dei punti più suggestivi della città. Gentilezza e professionalità sono di casa. La colazione viene servita scendendo due piani rispetto alla reception, ogni angolo dell'hotel è curato e la sala colazioni si affaccia su un giardino da cui poter continuare ad ammirare il paesaggio. La colazione è normale, non eccelsa, ma offre di tutto, dolce e salato, di certo non ci si alza con la fame. Insomma un weekend meraviglioso a Spoleto ma di certo il valore aggiunto lo dà proprio l'hotel Gattapone!
