Wir, 3 gestandene Motorradfahrer, hatten das Vergnügen, das Hotel Riviera in Spiez zu geniessen. Genau wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Chef, und alle Mitarbeiter*Innen waren sehr hilfsbereit freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel liegt 1A am See, mit grosser Terrasse und Restaurant. Das Frühstückbuffet hat alles was man sich wünscht und die Speisekarte am Abend bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Die Küche war ausgezeichnet. Die Preise absolut ok. Die freundlichen Zimmer sind sauber haben meist eine kleine Terrasse und sind ruhig. Noch zu erwähnen ist, es hat eine begrenzte Anzahl gratis Parkplätze. Uns hat es ausgezeichnet gefallen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Herrn da Silva und seinem Team.

Recentemente, fiquei neste acolhedor hotel e não podia estar mais satisfeita! Desde o momento da chegada, senti-me "em casa", plenamente acolhedora pela simpatia e atenção da equipa. O ambiente é muito tranquilo, perfeito para descansar e com uma vista única sobre o lago e montanha. Os quartos são confortáveis, em estilo challet, e extremamente limpos. Apesar de o hotel ser pequeno, nota-se o cuidado com cada detalhe, desde os pequenos toques na decoração até ao conforto da cama. O pequeno-almoço foi outro ponto alto: simples, mas delicioso, com produtos saborosos e diversos. Recomendo vivamente a quem procura um espaço acolhedor e uma experiência personalizada. Sem dúvida, voltarei!

What a magical place to stay. Right on the peninsula in Spiez you hear the lapping water all night from your bed. Room was small but had all we needed. We were able to park right outside the hotel which is an added bonus and everyone is very accommodating.

Very good value and excellent staff. Unfortunately they had a flood in the basement during our visit, but manager did his very best and we even got a refund for one day. Food very good both breakfast and evening Dinner at reasonable prices, top class kitchen.

Hotel is beautifully situated but not all rooms are good! I had booked a room for 7 nights and arrived well after check-in time! When the receptionist wanted to go ahead of me to my room (no. 3) it turned out that it had not been cleaned yet.,,.. after 30 minutes I was able to enter, where when I locked the room inside the button fell out. The bathroom stank and was super warm because the heating was running at full speed (25 C outside). So I turned on the fan while I went to eat. On my way back I ended up in an oven because the fan had suddenly started heating by itself! When the next day when I returned my room door also opened like that without me needing a card, I was fed up. After some discussion with the manager I got another room the next day where suddenly everything worked perfectly; even the TV no longer had those bright unnatural colours. In short, room no. 2 was perfect. Thanks for this to the manager!

Nice spacious room with balcony. Beautiful view of the mountains. Clean bathroom, clean towels every day. Fridge with free water and bottle of red wine. Extensive delicious fresh breakfast buffet. Really worth it. When the weather is nice you can sit outside by the lake. Dinner was also delicious. Must book in advance. Very friendly and helpful staff. Top. I can't think of anything negative. We will gladly come back.

Location of this hotel is excellent - right on Lake Thun in Spiez. Be aware that the amenities in town are all up a steep hill, including the railway station. There is very limited car parking - we had to perform multiple manoeuvred to get into a space - but it's free. The lady at the desk was helpful but we weren't offered the local guest card (which gives discounts) Room was small (we had room 8) - recommend that you book a balcony room as they seemed bigger. If you unpacked your clothes you had nowhere to put your cases - so we lived out of our case. Beds were very comfortable with split mattress & 2 duvets. Curtains didn't meet properly so light came in. We did have a kettle (& there was coffee facilities on the landing outside our room) but no fridge to store milk. The bathroom had a newly fitted shower unit but the rest looked a little dated. There was toiletries provided. Breakfast was continental buffet style & was very good. The attached restaurant is Italian & the food was excellent.
