Excellent
CCbryzncoxVery nice. Great rooms. Jesse at the front desk was outstanding. He helped with our reservation before we arrived, restaurant recommendations and smooth, easy checkout. It makes a real difference to have professional and friendly staff.
GGuest UserI love the aloft. Have stayed many times. The rooms are great, always clean with a pleasant modern atmosphere. I was a little disappointed about the breakfast situation. The woman who checked me in the night prior made it seem like it was included in my stay. I found out the next morning that was not the case. Regardless, still love it there.
GGuest UserAnytime you see feral cats in the parking lot perhaps you have made a mistake in your choice of hotel. I had to make a last minute reservation over the memorial day weekend. The residence inn was well reviewed and we chose it. Clearly was not a Marriott experience and hardly worth $300 a night The check-in was somewhat chaotic but what really welcomed us to the negative experience was the rank smell of ********* throughout the entire second floor. The first floor carpet smelled if anything worse. The room itself was perfectly clean But not at all soundproof and was rather too much of an invitation to get to know your neighbors. In these Covid days one is used to there being low staff and no housekeeping. That having been said no one ever answered the phone so when you called. We called down four towels and it rang so many times when we hung up we had actually forgotten we were still on the phone. When we went down to ask for towels they looked at us and said sorry we have no towels. The free breakfast was worth what we paid for it being that they ran out of coffee at 8 AM and we headed to the Dunkin’ Donuts next door which thankfully had not run out of coffee at 8 AM. Hard to believe given how expensive the two nights were but it does appear to be more of an extended stay for families between residences. I probably am in 30 to 40 hotels a year and this was clearly the worst experience I’ve had.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great. The hotel itself is in sad need of repair which I understand will begin in late 2023. The rooms are old, we had two rooms both with broken doors to the bedroom area, torn carpet, cracked tiles, banged up furniture and the list goes on. The guest rooms are horrible designed- there is no AC supply in the main bedroom. Not sure how the hotel got away with that design. AC will cool the main area only with no air flow to the sleeping area. The pool is nice but only open until 8pm which is odd. The fitness center is adequate. Would not stay again until after renovations are complete. I am sure this review will be deleted when that happens. For now, we will look elsewhere when in the area.
FFlyer44356207720Honestly amazed at how nice & on top the staff were here. Very polite and outgoing! Would love to stay again! Only thing missing I would say is breakfast in bed! I love to be spoiled. They cleaned every day from what I saw and never let a mess *if there was one* stink up or sticky up the floor/hallway. Carpet was clean as well!! Which is something I rarely see some places.
Traveling on NJTurnpike, no hotels take pets at exit 3, so here we are. Bed comfy, that's the good. The bad, woman screaming in parking lot ”f this and that”, really fighting with someone to the point I was about to call desk, then a big white van screamed out of the lot and she must have been in it. Because screaming stopped. Dirty towels and rubber gloves on the ground in front of room upon arrival. Big laundry bin sitting on the sidewalk. There was lots of smoke smell in my non-smoking room, and at around 2 am there was a car running outside my window for about 15 minutes around 3ish. Beer bottle left behind and smoke smell starts wafting into room. Cars beeping as people check their locks. Front desk girl in the evening, hmm, I was trying so hard to be extra nice because she seemed so unhappy, but after the commotion, it's no wonder she is not happy working there. The room seemed clean but lots of just oldness. Bathroom, nice new tub and sink, but don't look up or you'll see the mold on the ceiling. This place is just not being kept up, and I am sure that some of it is due to lack of help, but have some respect for your outside property. It looks nothing like your pictures. It seems most rooms were full when we left, so spend some of the money you're making. I expected better, even off the pike.
