Spa Hotels in St Julian's

This hotel is located in St. Julian's, which I believe is the most bustling and vibrant area in Malta. It's super convenient for getting around with taxis readily available. Right downstairs, there's a supermarket, a Starbucks, and a gelato shop. A short walk takes you to a shopping mall and a street full of bars – truly an excellent location! The rooms are new and modern, and the balcony is spacious, perfect for drying clothes. Breakfast is quite good too (semi-buffet style). There's a swimming pool on the top floor, but it closes a bit early; in summer, it's already closed by 6 PM.

This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing and so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much for them. Beautiful location, with stunning views from the roof top. The in-house restaurant ‘Zest’ was so lovely with amazing Japanese food. If I return to Malta I will be coming back. Excellent value for money, excellent accommodation, excellent everything! I don’t have a bad word to say.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but breakfast hardly selected then rooms have spiced after distant fat and food in the morning. The pool was small but acceptable Elevator disaster has taken too long to have used the stairs was very obsolete Location was mostly expensive with Uber and Bolt The beach is away from the hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights in Room 101. Unfortunately, there was a water leakage issue in the shower. We contacted the night shift staff, and they offered to arrange a room change the following afternoon. The next day, we spoke again with the Thai staff member at check-in regarding the issue. He responded very professionally, immediately arranged for us to view a replacement room, and even upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi. We truly appreciated his excellent service and helpful attitude. The hotel facilities are very good. Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are free for guests to use, which was a great benefit. The sauna facilities were also excellent, especially after a workout. However, the breakfast selection could be improved. The hot dishes remained the same every day, and watermelon was only available on one occasion during our stay. The catering staff were polite and efficient, despite also having to support the kitchen operations. One of the front desk ladies appeared to be a new staff member. She did not greet guests proactively and seemed to require reminders from her colleagues to complete certain tasks. Overall, for a 4-star hotel in Malta, the hotel has good facilities and service, but there is still room for improvement, particularly in the catering and breakfast experience.

Unfortunately, we had to leave one night early because of roadworks right outside the hotel which we were not told about. The room was also very hot and with it being 16 degrees outside we wanted some aircon. After trying to turn the aircon on ourselves we decided to contact reception as it was not turning cold. Reception advised us that because it was winter, the aircon cannot be turned on and only heat is coming out of the vent. This seems silly as it was very hot and some people just want aircon. Reception offered to come and open a window to let some air in but because we were in a deluxe room, we had a balcony which we could easily open ourselves. Their next piece of advice was to turn the aircon off which of course we had done. The next morning we were woken up at 6:45am by drilling into the ground right outside the hotels entrance. We weren’t told that this would be happening despite the area outside being cordoned off the day before - suggesting hotel staff were aware this would be happening. The noise was unbearably loud (the balcony door was shut at this point) at this same time the wifi went down and we weren’t even able to put the TV on to drown out the noise. We decided straight away to book another hotel and leave. We told the lady on reception we were checking out early and she didn’t seem to care or ask why, when we left the hotel we saw the drilling at it was clear that this wouldn’t just last one day and that we’d made the right decision - it was a relief to leave, we stayed at The Corinthia for the last part of our holiday and had a fantastic time. Positives to Noru were the spa bath tub and breakfast was decent but nothing stood out.

I HAVE LOVED MY STAY. First time visiting Malta, booked the room last hour and I did not regret. The hotel was beautiful, and I booked the lower categorie room, still was amazing. It is located in the heart of the party district, so if you are in Malta to party. It is ideal. Very silent rooms, great space, comfortable bed. If you are planning a more sexual adventure trip, the ceileing mirrors and some fun chains in the room might help you out with the fun. Either you go with someone or want to meet someone in the island just for fun. The Spa and piscina are fantastic and a great place to relax or even start the day. The breakfast buffet options were awesome and everything was freah and delicious. St. Julian's it is also very central in Malta, so if you want to plan and travel around, the location is fantastic to be able to see so many other places in the Island. When it comes to the service and staff. Everyone was impeccable. From the reception team, to the security, to the waiters and even the cleaning team. Everyone was always very nice and helpful. Met Sandra, on my arrival, and coincidentally she was also working 3 days later when I was checking out, She did a great job. The Hugo's group have a few more of their places around, Hugo's Pub, Bacco by Hugo's, the Hugo's Burger and others, but these were the ones I also checked out and again, everything was great. I tolally recommend a stay in here. 10 out of 10 for me.

Our stay at Verdi St George was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel exceeded all our expectations in every way. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect environment for a relaxing getaway. The staff deserves special recognition for their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine hospitality. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable and enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to help with anything we needed made a huge difference. The food was outstanding, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options every day. The facilities were modern, well-maintained, and created a luxurious atmosphere throughout the property. What truly sets Verdi St George apart is the combination of excellent service, comfort, and a warm welcoming ambiance. It is clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. We would highly recommend Verdi St George to anyone looking for a first-class holiday experience. We are already looking forward to returning in the future.
