We booked this hotel as we wanted a newer hotel near Okayama station. The room was the largest of the 4 hotels we stayed in Japan. The complimentary onsen, snacks, drinks and supper were plus points. In addition laundry machine was free to use, just pay 100yen for the dryer. Highly recommend to stay here!

Although it is a capsule hotel, it is about twice the size of the capsule hotels I have stayed in before. The door is just a simple sliding door, but the room has a cabinet with a password lock.
As for soundproofing, there is none at all, just wear earplugs and you'll be fine.
It is about a 4-minute walk from Okayama Station. There is a Lawson convenience store downstairs, which is about a minute's walk away. It is quite convenient.

CChamniGreat Location, connected to the JR station and shopping malls. Room was clean and compact. Amenities are provided at the front, but comb & razor are NOT FREE (each cost 100 JPY), which makes me slightly disappointed. However, I love the breakfast buffet which has the local menu and many choices.

MMichaelExcellent hotel, reasonably close to the Railway Station. Room was very spacious and well-appointed. The staff were excellent, responding to any request. The hotel has information on tours and restaurants in the area. The buffet breakfast was very good. Highly recommended.

NNongzagangzaoxiThe hotel is right in front of Okayama Station, 7 minutes walk from the bus, 5 minutes from the subway. There is a direct underground passage to B1 upstairs. The passage is connected to Okayama Station, very convenient. There are food around, mostly yakiniku izakaya, and Kani Doraku is opposite the alley. There are Matsuya and Yoshinoya opposite for breakfast, and of course the supermarket next to it is also convenient to walk 2 minutes. Camera is downstairs, Takashimaya is across the road, and Don Quijote is next to Takashimaya. They are all within walking distance. To go to Korakuen and Okayama Castle, take the streetcar in front of the hotel, take 3 stops, and get off at the Castle Station. It's only a 30-minute walk. There are smoking rooms, which can be reserved. The hotel is larger than the average Japanese hotel, and two 28-inch can be spread out without any impact. 600+ in early February, good value for money.

GGalinaThe hotel is not new, but looks modern and clean. The location is superb, next to the Okayama staion and Aeon mall. On the 10th floor there is public bath, thouh not natural hot spring. We liked using it after long day of walking). It really hepls to ease muscle pain. Breakfast is very good and there is a lot of space in the restaraunt.

AAnonymous UserDecent stay, although can be quite noisy as the walls are quite thin. Thankfully, the hotel provides free ear plugs. Breakfast is the same everyday, a bit boring for those who stay for many nights. Other than that, location wise is OK, walkable distance from Okayama Station.

The hotel is just a few step approaching from the Shirosita tram station!

The food at the breakfast buffet was also better than other hotels.
I was impressed with the system where the chef cooked the food on the spot and served it to me.

WWAI YUENThere is free parking here, which is very suitable for people who come to drive in Okayama. The scenery on the mountain is also beautiful, if you are lucky, you can see the sea of clouds! It's really pretty! There is also a small church next to the hotel.
