We had a lovely stay in The Connought Hotel. The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The hotels amenities were plentiful, very easy to get taxis, breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return.

What a lovely location, a gorgeous hotel and the swimming pool was great with the added bonus of an outside hot tub overlooking the sea. My room was 631 with a large king bed, desks, adequate bathroom with bath and shower, seats with table, desk and TV and all the usual facilities in a hotel room. No sockets by the bed though which is something all hotels need to have now but that was the only criticism of the room.
Staff where lovely, helpful and friendly although I give 4 stars as check-in didnt happen for 10 minutes due to no staff being at the reception, no idea why but it got sorted OK.
The hotel is clean, the room was clean, well presented and very welcoming. I had breakfast which was the normal cooked breakfast buffet, toasts, pancakes, breads, cereals, tea or coffee, juices with plenty of seating options and a view of the sea. The staff were great, the food was good and the atmosphere relaxed. The view gives you a great start to the day.
I used the pool which was great. Some families there with kids, a swimming lane, working steam room, sauna and heated jacuzzi. The outside hottub is amazing. It is a must do at this hotel. It was raiing on my stay so the outside tennis court and kids play area werent being used but its worth a mention that they have these.
Location feels remote but its only 5-10 minutes from Salthill and Galway by car. There is a petrol station beside the hotel on the main road and a small village. I guess you access the hotel by car, taxi or bus.

According to Ctrip, the rating of the hotel is less than 4.5 points. In fact, it is still good. The hotel is quite big, with a comfortable lobby, and a bar on the first floor, which leads to the terrace outside. WWANXINThe location is good. At that time, it was set at this time. The breakfast was normal, the room smelled, and there was a smell of tidal and unspeakable. It reacted with the front desk. The front desk said that our room was full, and there was no way, it would be fine. Up, more than 200 euros a night, the room is not worth it, the money of the star hotel, the equipment and services of the hotel.

GGuest UserIt was the worst 3 days I have ever spent in a hotel.
First day was fine, couldn't have evening meal as the food didn't appeal to me, I like proper dinners with mashed potatoes.
Second day was woke at 8am by work being done, weather was bad so we stayed in, 🔨 hammering went on all day long, same the next day but we ventured out .
Same the next day, then the heating went off, and no hot water to wash either.
I did tell them at the desk....they just said sorry.

XXilianmaojin2008It takes about ten minutes to walk from Galway Railway Station. It is not in the center and the location is a bit remote. But the room is big enough and the bed is very big. However, it is not cleaned every day and you have to stand in the bathtub to take a shower, which is not very convenient. Convenient, overall satisfied!

Vvivian91130The bed was very comfortable, the twin bed was 1.5 per bed and it was very clean. Downstairs is a gas station and convenience store. The breakfast was very good and the croissant was delicious. There is a little distance from the seaside in Galway, but the transit road is already very satisfactory.
