"Nice hotel, clean room with plenty of space. The breakfast had lots of options and was of decent quality, it would’ve been nice to have a smart TV so we could cast from our phones but it wasn’t a big deal. It’s slightly out of the city and the bus was unfortunately full a few times and past us so we had to get a taxi or walk to the city around 25 mins. I would come back"

"This is a summer school style place. The structure is a student dormitory mode. There are 4 small rooms in a large area, which is relatively independent. The environment is OK, there is a convenience store downstairs, closes at 22 o'clock, very close to the 404 bus station.
The fly in the ointment is: no slippers, shampoo, shower gel, no toothbrushing cup, these are like living in a dormitory, you need to prepare yourself. The air conditioner cannot be turned on in cooling mode."

"Long established Hotel in the Galway Salthill seaside resort, great for a winter break looking out at the howling Atlantic, plenty of good walks, and Galway city centre a decent walk or bus away, though you'll walk it faster than the bus when the afternoon traffic ramps up. Hotel food very good, the Pier 56 restaurant food was quality. There's also a higher end menu in the main restaurant, and even tasty bar bites in old pub styled bar. Rooms are large, plain and functional, with robust heavy duty old school hotel furniture, plain painted walls. A lot of the public areas are upgraded from previous decades, the main restaurant, bar and the bistro stylishly upgraded. Room bathrooms all up to the minute. Good value for a low season stay in November. Can't fault it."

"Wir waren zu zweit in diesem Hotel in Galway und hatten einen wirklich angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern gestaltet. Unser Zimmer war zwar eher kompakt, aber absolut sauber und ordentlich. Das Bett war für zwei Personen etwas schmal – das war jedoch bereits so in der Beschreibung angegeben und für uns völlig in Ordnung.
Die Lage ist hervorragend und sehr zentral. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es einige tolle Cafés sowie eine Küche zur Nutzung. Auch Parkplätze findet man in der nahen Umgebung problemlos.
Für einen Städtetrip nach Galway aufgrund der zentralen Lage und der Modernität definitiv eine gute Wahl!"

"This hostel exceeded expectations, for me.
The rooms had comfy beds, large lockers and air-con. The free breakfast was delicious and home made and they even do family dinner each night which is great value and a fun way to meet people. The bathrooms were basic but functional and clean and I didn't have to wait for a shower.
The pub downstairs was lively and good value.
I would suggest bringing ear plugs though as the live music goes on quite late some nights so if you want to sleep you'll need them."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated at one end of the main street with the riverfront right on the other side. El Square is also just a pleasant walk away at the opposite end of the main street. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling very effectively, but fortunately, the weather wasn't hot, so it wasn't a problem."

"Very good hostel experience overall. The place has everything a traveler might need: parking available, a very good continental breakfast, and common areas that are comfortable and well maintained. The location is excelent near the beach and a bus stop is in front of the hostel. You can arrive there a few minutes from the city center.
The staff were friendly and professional. I had a small issue when another guest mistakenly took my assigned bed in the dorm, but the receptionist handled the situation quickly and changed the sheets so I could use my bed without any problem.
The hostel was also very busy during St. Patrick’s weekend, yet the staff still managed things well. I appreciated their help and organization.
Overall, a comfortable stay and a good option when visiting Galway."

"OK, there is a curtain on the bed, there is a certain privacy. The location is very good, very close to the train station and bus station, breakfast is OK, so-so, in a country with high prices in Ireland, the Youth Hostel is a very good economic choice."

Strategically located in the Galway city, many tour buses stop right in front and Kinlay has their own Galway Tour too. Clean private room and bathroom, thankfully there was a standing fan in the room to beat the sunny summer heat (unusual for Galway).
Complimentary breakfast was awesome, delicious homemade Irish Soda bread, yummy scones that I missed on our last day there. Free flow of water, apples, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making that you could make yourself anytime.
Would come back again, highly recommended.

The hotel is very cozy, with excellent service and good facilities. Breakfast is 15 euros per person, not very extensive, but still acceptable. There is a bar in the lobby. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is very convenient. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Galway next time.

The room was completely different from the uploaded pictures. The pictures showed two beds, but there was only one. We had to add another room at the last minute. The hotel offered a much lower price than the platform suggested, which was very disappointing.

It was a bit tricky to find but the staff were very helpful. They suggested free parking for the night and even provided a map to get there. They lent us an adaptor as Swiss plugs could not go into Irish sockets. Very pleasant stay and the room was fine, all necessary amenities available as well as aircon.

The hotel has three floors and no elevator, but it is very warm. The hotel owner is a twin brother, tall and tall, but very elegant. The hotel should include breakfast, but the description is to charge, so that everyone did not go to breakfast, I hope to inform you clearly in the future.

LucasDucasLocation was great - you can get the bus outside into town takes 5 minutes to get to the square and walk into where the bars restaurants and shops are.
The brasserie on the corner is fantastic food and service and a general spot if you’re a foodie!
Quays bar is a must! Live music and atmosphere it brilliant there :)
Hotel is great, clean, efficient and nice views they also have lots of leaflets and a pool table in reception along side a coffee machine and vending machine.
There is a petrol station next door for any other amenities needed.
All rooms were clean and had their own bathroom and kitchenette.
Recommended if you come Galway to hire a car you want to drive out alongside the coast and country side - ferry tour of the Aran islands is beautiful and the drive there was out of this world!
Everyone is so helpful and friendly to approach and talk too. Loved it 🇮🇪❤️

This is my terrible experience during my Ireland trip. No aircondition, double lock out of order, iron doesnt work When we reported those issues to reception, no fixing, no room change arranged. 10mins later, they sent me an iron 😔
As viewed, the hotel lobby is nice & good beakfast. Hope they have improvement in future. 🙏

It takes about ten minutes to walk from Galway Railway Station. It is not in the center and the location is a bit remote. But the room is big enough and the bed is very big. However, it is not cleaned every day and you have to stand in the bathtub to take a shower, which is not very convenient. Convenient, overall satisfied!

We booked a whole sconto, everything worked without problems.
Super nice service, free towels, as well as free tea/cafe and fruit.
Room was clean, good size and everything was very uncomplicated.
Super were the sticks on each bed with additional USB and USB connection, so you don't need a adapter.
We also had breakfast incl. , rather smaller buffet, but perfectly enough and delicious for the price.
The mattresses are our only defects, which were very hard.
