Great
GGuest UserGreat hotel, but no longer fresh. Morally and technically it begins to become outdated and lag behind the new ones. But nevertheless it maintains a level worthy of 5*
GGuest UserAfter arriving in Athens, I booked a three-day vacation in Corfu. Before the epidemic, I booked flights on the official website of airlines and hotels on Booing. This time, I used Ctrip to book round-trip flights and hotels from Athens to Corfu for the first time. I didn't compare prices, but the booking process was very convenient and fast.
Because I wanted to relax and vacation, I chose the Domemiz Resort Hotel, which is half an hour's drive from the old town of Corfu, for three nights. After renting a car and driving to the hotel, I found that this decision was very correct. There are no must-see attractions and no many tourists. It is really ”facing the sea and spring flowers blooming.”
The sea view room I stayed in is facing the swimming pool and the beach, and you can go in and out directly from the small balcony. I spent two days relaxing and sunbathing in the hotel, facing the Mediterranean Sea with jelly orchids. If you don't count the cost of domestic flights to Greece, I personally think that the cost-effectiveness is better than Sanya's five-star hotel.
The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. It was almost 10 o'clock in the evening on the first night I arrived, and the hotel restaurant had stopped operating. The door service staff helped move the luggage to the room and brought some burritos and snacks to the room. The guy at the front desk helped me book a rural hotel on the hillside not far from the hotel. I enjoyed the local Corfu cuisine, which was very delicious. The owner was warm and hospitable, and I spent a happy night. The next day, the guy recommended a mountaintop restaurant with a 360-degree view and very unique dishes.
Walk along the beach in the hotel, stare at the Mediterranean blue, bask in the sun, and play with the cats in the hotel. If I had enough time to stay for two more nights, it would be a relaxing and long holiday.
When checking out, the hotel gave me a special ceramic Greek Eye, which was a perfect end to the three-day trip to Corfu.
GGuest UserMy experience was good with MarBella. We have all-meal inclusive, 30-minute free play for non-motorized water sport. All the a-la-carte restaurants were fully booked for dinners, so you only had one choice of buffet. I think the receptionist should highlight free activities in the package for guest during check-in. Otherwise, it will be very easy to miss those activities, e.g. daily boat to old town as there is one trip per day and no activities on Sunday, if you stay during the weekend.
Sstriker10 teamWe loved this hotel just my daughter and I, I am nearly 50 and she is a teenager. Suited both ages we requested late check out on the day and the reception staff sorted it all for us. Our flight at 11pm so we were able to use all facilities that were included in our All Inclusive at an extra charge. So worth it, the food was amazing and the staff super friendly. Would definitely return and recommend.
GGuest UserDomes of Corfu was a really nice place. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the view from our balcony was amazing. We enjoyed having our espresso out on the balcony every morning, which became a lovely daily ritual.
Our package included a breakfast and dinner buffet, along with access to the lounge. The buffet offered a wide variety of food options—more than enough for us to enjoy throughout our stay.
The beach was beautiful, with soft sand and fantastic sea water—perfect for relaxing.
We had a great time and would definitely recommend the resort.
Tip for future guests: Consider renting a car in advance before your arrival. The resort is located about 30 minutes from Corfu Old Town, which is definitely worth visiting. Without a car, you’ll likely spend most of your time at the resort.
GGuest UserThe hotel was right beside a beach via underground tunnel, snorkelling was very good, plenty of choice in the buffet.
Hotel was clean and staff were lovely especially Nicholas I think his name was in the beach bar..
Evening entertainment was great if you had small kids but for older teenagers and adults it could be improved. Entertainment was really the only down side of a very relaxing holiday.
PPaul StephenStayed here for a night, very busy hotel with just 2 receptionists checking in, resulting in a 30 min queue. Got the twin plus room, which was nice and clean. Breakfast sadly let the hotel down - nothing was cooked to order, meaning everything was presented buffet style. I arrived at 7:30 to Luke warm omelettes and cold sausages. Beach area is nice, and the walk along the beach to cafes and tavernas was a good option!
GGuest UserThe location is more than an hour drive from the airport unless you have a chauffeur or coach service booked. The room were nice and comfy but we were attacked by ants in our room which I guess is a common problem in the island. On our check out day, there was a national electricity breakdown at 8 am and the hotel staff wouldn't help by extending our checkout time by an hour. The electricity was restored at 12 pm but we were forced to empty the room at 11 am sharp. Overall, good activities at the resort and just across is a nice beach but you have to exit the resort to get to the sandy beach.
PPaco TestaExcellent hotel with fabulous views of the sea. The service was impeccable, staff super friendly and facilities top notch. The half board selection had a fantastic variety of food. We were upgraded to a bungalow with a sharing pool which was far better than having to use the main pool. I have nothing but excellent things to say about this hotel. Will definitely return
GGuest UserA lovely hotel over a large plot with three pools and several restaurants next to a clean beach with free sun beds and towels. Rooms are large. We booked a double, but actually had a double and single bed in the room. Bathroom was clean.
Very large variety of food in the restaurants. Biggest let down was the poor labelling of ingredients. Items with certain allergens like eggs were not labelled and could cause serious issues with those who are allergic. The chefs were very helpful in assisting but we got mixed information.
