Spa Hotels in Hersonissos

It was a memorable time for us traveling from US as family of four with two kids age 7 and 11. First striking thing was everything was included in the all inclusive price. There were no hidden charges or extra fees for things like ala carte reservations. There were plenty of activities for the kids to keep them occupied. Ice creams and desserts were available all the time. Only downside for us was that we are vegetarians and food options are very limited as Greece goes heavy on meat.

Convenient location, about fifteen minutes from Heraklion and the airport. Located on a quiet and pleasant stretch of beach. The rooms are spacious and equipped. Thinking down to the smallest details. Outstanding user experience. A welcome collaboration with Psaki Restaurant. What made our stay extraordinary is the wonderful service and the kind and dedicated staff. Thank you!

Overall, I liked it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but unfortunately, all three rooms for our family were in different locations and didn't have a view. Generally, the layout of the complex and rooms is a bit strange; there are quite a few rooms with views of the parking lot, a concrete yard, or on the minus first floor (though there's a lawn outside the window). There are also rooms with sea or pool views. Downsides: In September, the waves are high, and swimming is almost impossible due to many rocks, posing a risk of injury. The outdoor pools are cold, and hardly anyone uses them. There's an indoor pool, but naturally, it's chlorinated. This is the main drawback of a beachfront hotel. The beach is public, and while there are good sun loungers, there aren't enough for everyone, and people occupy them, not just towels. This means there are fewer loungers than guests at the hotel. The biggest plus of this hotel is the restaurant. It operates on a half-board concept (breakfast + dinner). The food is excellent. Breakfast is a buffet, and dinner is an à la carte system with menu items included, plus drinks for an additional charge. The service is very good and attentive. It even felt like the restaurant and the hotel had separate management. In short, the hotel itself needs improvement, but the restaurant makes up for it.

All of the staff were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They took care of us like family. Especially the beach bar staff were #1. We were with a large group of friends and they were so attentive and added a lot of laughter and fun to our experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, right in the city center. I had a suite, but unfortunately, the room’s hygiene was disappointing. The air conditioning blew out strange dust clouds — it turned out to be extremely dirty (see photo). In addition, the shower seals were full of mold, so I didn’t shower. The room faced a derelict building, which also came with a terrible sewage-like smell. Such a shame. With half board, you get a credit to spend — which is actually a clever system — and the food itself was very good and delicious. But having to pay extra for a cappuccino at breakfast is just absurd. That should simply be included 🤷🏼♀️

We have just had the most incredible days staying at Esperides Resort. From the moment we arrived, all staff were outstanding. My girlfriend and I stayed in a room with a private jetted tub which was well worth the upgrade. We will remember our few days at this hotel for a long time and would love to come back in the future.

Just absolutely regular resort, nothing special at all. The food is flat and the drinks are very poor. Even if you go to (only one) all-inclusive al a carte restaurant you will get same food as in buffet and some special meals for money. Small crowded pool and no service on the beach. In general, it's rate 3 out of 5, but it's still completely overpriced.

I was waiting more from the hotel… I don’t think the pictures shows exactly what the hotel offer… specially the pools… Me and my boyfriend had a very bad situation. We went to a tour in Santorini and the Ferry boat was late on the way back. Our guide called the hotel asking for a late dinner for us and the hotel said they would provide. When we reached in the hotel we saw that they put our food ON THE FLOOR, close to the room door. I made a mistake (I assume) I wanted hang out that thing saying “ make up my room” but I choose the wrong side and put there “ do not disturb “ But if our guide called the hotel saying that we were in Santorini of course they could go into the room to put our food in the fridge or keep in at the bar… I went down and talked to a guy in the repception showed him the picture I attached here and he answered me that was my mistake putting the “do not disturb” at the door and he could do nothing for us, we should eat that food that was on the floor 😱😡. No excuses for this… On the day after I talked to the manager and she apologized and gave us a voucher for the lunch. We apologized but I will never forget this situation…

For the price of our stay it was well worth it!! Food was good and the all inclusive drinks were a big hit! There was entertainment on one of the nights we were there aswell! The pool was standard but a great vibe :) our room had a great view -one of the best in the resort 👌

Apartment Stella Paradise by Checkin is very conveniently located in Hersonissos - the main city beach is just 5 minutes walk around a corner, 10 minutes of pleasant walk to the city promenade with restaurants and bars, and no more than 20 minutes walk along the coastal line of hotels, restaurants and small pebble beaches to the best nearest sandy beach of Sarandari. The apartments themselves are quite budget style, but at the same time is very comfortable accommodation option for travelers who appreciate the optimal combination of price and quality. Our room consisted of a small bedroom, and a living room with a sofa bed and a small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge and kettle. For those who prefer to cook while traveling, there is a necessary minimum of cooking equipment, but we have ordered breakfasts, which were covered by Stella herself the owner of the apartments. I would like to say a special thank to Stella for all her help during our stay - she recommended wonderful restaurants and beaches, ordered taxi and table in the restaurant, and solved all the minor issues we had, this made travel planning very easy and made our stay very comfortable. Despite the fact that this is not a hotel but a complex of apartments, the room was cleaning every day. And a big advantage was the presence of a terrace where it was convenient to dry bathing suits after the beach, and drink a glass of wine in the evening. I will definitely stay here if I come to Hersonissos again.
