"Good value-for-money hotel within driving distance of Roussillon and great sites such as the okhra eco-museum. Parking was not free but a reasonable 6 Euros. Relatively small room but clean, comfortable and certainly worth the price. Recommended for those with a car."

Amazing
ZZhengxinxinThis is a shocking villa hotel very close to the stone city. The villa has two oversized cedars. The couple runs it. The people are very good. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The room is also 360-degree view. Even the toilet has a view. I am the least fond of writing reviews because I am not a blogger. Xiaohongshu also writes a lot. Very good to provide reference. This is my favorite one since my trip. The unique geographical environment and design style are simply magical. So unreal, but it really exists. I have lived in a very luxurious brand hotel. All kinds of boutique design hotels. Nothing that touched me so much.
GGuest UserThe owner and host Pascal is very warm, eager to please, excitable and very outgoing. There is a happy hour for guests and Pascal everyday and it is nice to make friends with other guests. A very nice breakfast is good included daily. A short 5-8 minute drive to the lovely but crowded town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Pascal helped us book last minute dinner reservations in L'isle sur la Sorgue, which isn't easy to do last minute in September. We especially enjoyed Le Jardin du Quai. Only a four course with no choices at 52 Euros pp. We enjoyed it so much we ate there our last two nights.
The ”resort” is in an old Carmelite building that has had refurbishment. It is more rustic Provencal than contemporary. There is an outside covered fairly extensive exercise room, a nice pool, and a very peaceful feel outside on the property. The bees at breakfast were bothersome but nobody got stung and they seemed benign.
The clientele was international, but more than 1/2 French. Pascal speaks and understands English well.
Les Carmes is quite different than most other places in the region. It reminds me a bit of the Golden ages of travel in the 1950s. It is the opposite of sterile and has a real heart and center.
GGuest UserThis family-run guesthouse is priced on the higher side. Objectively speaking, the rooms are reasonably spacious and the hardware facilities are decent, but the hosts have an extremely poor sense of service—they completely fail to position themselves as service providers; instead, guests feel like strangers ”crashing” at their home.
What makes the experience even worse is that the shared living room and dining area are used by both guests and the host family. The hosts' children often run and make noise in these public spaces, which seriously disturbs the guests' rest. We initially chose this place mainly to meet our need for twin-bed accommodation. However, upon check-in, one of the rooms did not have two sets of bedding as promised. When we asked the hosts for the missing bedding, they responded with a bad attitude; from the next day onwards, they even treated us with unwarranted rudeness and indifference.
The most outrageous part came during checkout: the bills for all three rooms were overcharged by more than 60 to 70 euros each. After we checked each room's bill one by one and raised questions, the hosts reluctantly admitted the miscalculation, yet still insisted on charging an additional ”service fee”. When we pressed them to explain what specific services this fee covered, they flew into a rage because they couldn't answer, and even rudely drove us away.
The hosts of this guesthouse have no sense of contract or basic service awareness. We strongly advise everyone to choose carefully to avoid such a terrible experience.
SsunshineThe hotel is like a small garden, the room is quite big and comfortable.
Breakfast is very general and there are few choices.
The bathroom water is not very big, and the bath feels very general.
The swimming pool is very deep, there is no shallow pool, and the swimming technology is generally unable to swim.
QQiVery suitable for family vacation, one and a half hours away from Marseille, in a quiet mountain village. Beautiful scenery, good rooms, restaurants, good staff service, 7*24 hours service at the front desk. Picnic service is provided, and picnics in the vineyard or olive grove under the mountain feel great.
GGuangtoucaiThis hotel is very interesting. The car drove to the door, that is, the door could not be found, and the navigation showed that it was here. We repeatedly looked for it. The car slowly approached the door and the door slowly opened automatically. After entering, there are full of luxury cars, which makes people feel the so-called ”low luxury”.
GGuest UserEnvironment: The room and hotel environment are beautiful
Facilities: The three swimming pools are all filmed, and ice water is provided by the pool.
The restaurant faces the vineyard, very beautiful, and the dinner price is relatively high. Breakfast is good.
