The room should have been renovated. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The service staff took the initiative to ask for help. There was also hot spring water in the room. There was a distance from the accommodation to the hot spring entrance, but you could change into your swimsuit first and then enter through the back door.

Just steps from a shopping mall, the Taishan Gaoye Hotel (Taishan Gaoye Jiudian) is a five-minute drive from the Taishan bus terminal and a 30-minute drive from major Taishan tourist attractions. From this Taishan hotel, guests look out over Tongji river in rooms equipped with bathtubs, mini bars, in-room safes and central A/C. This hotel features rooms overlooking the Taijiang River as well as multiple function rooms and private luxurious dining rooms available for reservation. In their free time guests are encouraged to take advantage of the many activities provided such as billiards, tennis, fitness center, basketball courts or karaoke rooms, in addition of course to the lobby bar or coffee shop where Wi-Fi is provided. The front desk is more than helpful in assisting you with use of international credit cards, reserving handicap friendly rooms, booking travel tickets and providing free newspapers.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gaoye. Was clean, nicely furnished, and big. I actually like the classic wooden furnishing. Stayed on a non smoking floor so that could be why it was nicer. Saw this in another review and it is true. They deliver fruits to your room. I will be back!

GGuest UserWe, a party of 8, visited 台山, our ancestral home, over the weekend. We booked 5 rooms at 丽怡, mostly because it is new and conveniently located in the town center. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Hotel staff were courteous. Rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would have given a higher rating if not for the following reasons:
1) We weren't able to get a non-smoking room per our preference. The hotel only has one floor dedicated as non-smoking. The hotel did some odor removal treatment and opened the windows before we checked in but I would still prefer to stay in a non-smoking room.
2) There is a low humming noise throughout the night till around 5:30 am. Not enough to wake you if you are tired and sound asleep but it will be difficult to sleep again once you woke up during the night. All 5 rooms can hear the humming noise. Don't know if it is because there is a steel fabrication shop next to the hotel or due to hotel's own aircon compressor.

Ffong ongRooms are spacious and clean except for some stains at the curtains The 'Alexa/Google home' in the rooms made the stay even more comfortable as everything could be voice controlled.
Interestingly, the hotel provides free supper from 9pm to 11pm which makes it very convenient for guests who arrived late in the hotel to have a quick bite without having to venture out.
There are washing machines & dryer available in the hotel for guests to wash their clothes. Thank goodness for it especially during winter so we could bring less clothes along.
Most importantly, the service from the staff is excellent. Every one we met in the hotel treated us warmly and went the extra mile to accede to our requests. We booked 3 rooms initially then added one more room after one night. Unfortunately, there wasn't any available room on the the same floor. However, the staff actually called us the next day and informed us of an available room on the same floor and asked if we would like to change the room so the entire family could be on the same floor. We were impressed with their attention to detail and their service!

The hotel is clean and tidy, it is very good in this place, we arranged for us not facing the street, not so noisy, the people in this place love to be lively, the supermarket opened in the morning and began to dance lions.
In the morning, there is a breakfast on the opposite side of the street. It is a certain distance from the first yellow rice in Taishan and convenient parking.

GGuest UserIt was nice and spacious, but missing some amenities. There was no fridge and microwave in the rooms. Only one complimentary bottle of water per person was provided daily; any extra bottles have to be purchased. 2 out of 4 dryers weren’t working; it took a long time to dry clothes. It was very dark in the laundry room. The gym and rec room was in one big room in which we had to manually turn on the lights ourselves; it felt very unfinished and not well ventilated. The beds weren’t made one day even though we requested room clean up. There were only Chinese instructions in the bathroom, so non-Chinese readers may not be aware of certain rules. At the dim sum restaurant in the hotel, they added a dish we had told them to remove from our ordering menu and forced us to keep and pay for it even though it was their mistake for adding it to our ordering tab.

GGuest UserThe location is convenient for transportation. As for hygiene, there was a long hair inside the quilt when I opened it, and there was a stain on the bed that had not been cleaned. Most importantly, the door gap was not fixed properly. I heard a ”woohoo” sound when I was sleeping at night, which was scary. I didn't sleep well the whole night. Fortunately, I asked the front desk the next day if I could delay check-out, and the front desk agreed. It is worth mentioning that when I went out for dinner at night and it rained, the front desk had an umbrella to borrow.

It's a pity that there is really nothing to see or do in this resort, so there is no need to go out of your way! ! ! In the near future, we can add more places to see and play~

GGuest UserThe overall environment is OK, the neighborhood is not noisy, that is, the duplex apartment is forced to separate the upper and lower rooms and it is still a bit humorous. My room opened the door and it was the stairs up. But after going up, it was similar to the picture promotion. The inside was not taken, and the price/performance ratio was okay.

GGuest UserEnjoyed my stay very much and would recommend the location is great across from the park and near old Taishan shopping and ratting! Room is clean, bed is firm and sheets are wonderfully soft. Bathroom roomy. Carpets are clean. The wallpaper in halls is old and furniture slightly dinged, but all is clean. Breakfast was better some days than others. Coffee was awful! The Kareoke outside every night is so bad that it is hilarious! At least they stop at 10 pm every night.
