It was a very pleasant experience to stay in this hotel. The service was attentive and thoughtful, the room was spacious and bright, and the bed was comfortable, which allowed me to enjoy a good sleep. SStephan_J_FiresWoW! What an amazing place to stay! I took my wife to the Island for her Birthday and was looking for an affordable and cute place. QingWu Fisherman's Hostel did not disappoint! The owner and his girlfriend were so kind and welcoming. He helped me find the correct Ferry station to travel to the Shengshan island and gave us tons of information and advice for living and traveling on the island. Like taking the bus instead of taxis because the taxis are very expensive. The Hostel also has a bar and restaurant area that is extremely cute and pleasant to be at. We ate Lunch and Dinner at the Hostel every day because the food was absolutely divine. My wife does not eat spicy food and the host was kind enough to alter the dishes. The room itself was an absolute pleasure to stay in. When we arrived at the room the air conditioning had already been put on and the room was nice and cool considering the soaring heat outside. We spent most mid-days in the room to escape the heat and take a nap. The evenings we spent on the deck watching the sunset and drinking beer and wine. It truly felt like home. If I go back to the island, I'll definitely stay there again. 1000% recommend.

First of all, before checking in, my boyfriend and I made an impromptu decision. We called at 4:30 in the morning and asked if there was someone to answer. After booking the room, we arrived at Gouqi Island. They also arranged a pick-up service, but because I was not used to answering strange calls, I thought it was an advertisement, so I didn’t answer. , you remember to save their phone numbers! So we took a taxi by ourselves. In the taxi, the master driver heard that we were going to Yicheng, and he was full of praise, saying that we would choose and choose - a single building, a good location, and good service. We boast that we seem to own this homestay hahahahaha!
The service after check-in is also perfect, the room is white and clean, very bright, and it can be said to be close to zero stains. Clean as a hotel, but more human. Will remind us to have breakfast and tell us where the fun is. On the first night, we didn’t respond to any news from the afternoon to the evening, and the store owner was always worried about our safety, and felt that we were also worried about going out to play.
When we were about to leave the store, my boyfriend and I failed to grab the return ferry ticket on the App, and the store also helped us with advice. Writing these now is on the boat back.
I came here for vacation, and I really feel very happy with the people and things I met from the beginning to the end. Especially for accommodation, I have sighed countless times, the choice is really good.

The hotel has its own swimming pool, and the children had a lot of fun. The whole island is also very beautiful, with clean streets. Environment: The family is very nice. The room has a terrace, facing the sea, with a panoramic view of the sea breeze and waves. It is a B&B on the edge of the coastal road, perfect for watching sunset or sunrise. When I open the balcony door at night, I can listen to the sound of the sea all night long.
Service: When I was doing a guide before coming here, I said that the people on the island are very welcoming. When I came here, I found that the reputation was well-deserved. The proprietress is a good cook and always smiles. The seafood noodles are delicious. She will help us make breakfast and buy fried dough sticks. In the evening, there will be people singing karaoke in the lobby. When we leave, the proprietress will take us to the car. The taxi driver and other shop owners are also very enthusiastic. The natural scenery and simple folk customs are really rare. Thumbs up!
This time I came a little bit unsatisfied. Although it was relatively close to the East Cliff cliff, I couldn’t see the sunrise over the sea due to heavy fog for two days, but it still left me with the best memories. I’ll come back next time, Shengsi~

Ggeorgi_24We had the greatest time in the hotel. The owner is extremely kind and helpful. He even provided us with a better room with a sea view, with no extra charge. The weather changed abruptly on our last day and they canceled our ferry, and the owner was so kind that he helped us booking the next ship and allowed us to stay a little longer with no extra charge. The view is espectacular, and at night we could see the stars in the rooftop. The breakfast was delicious, and the room super cozy. Dawang Beach is not too far away, so it is possible to go there by taking a half hour walk. In sum, an unforgettable experience. Would surely come back!

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
Overall: highly recommended!
