The team at the front desk were amazing and truly the only highlight of my stay—they were helpful and accommodating throughout. Unfortunately, both rooms I was placed in had significant mould issues. The first room had visible mould throughout the unit, and while the second room was slightly better, it still smelled strongly of mould and had noticeable mould spots. As this is not a budget hotel, I expected better care and maintenance to ensure the rooms were up to standard. The mould not only made my stay uncomfortable, as I was continually breathing it in, but it also made me hesitant to use the kitchen facilities, with items like the cutting board visibly affected by mould. Overall, I feel like I wasted my money as the mould issues made the stay far from worth the price I paid. It’s disappointing as the front desk staff did their best, but the condition of the rooms fell far short of expectations.

I love this apartment, the staff is friendly and explained why the parking was not available on the day - even printed a map for us because we couldnt get to the place. Thank you! Love the facilities as well, so lovely, really felt like home away from home.

Check in with very helpful staff member. Room spacious with comfy beds and bedding. Location is perfect right in heart of Southbank with cafes and restaurants everywhere. Double glazing on windows kept out train noise pretty . (Train line runs near hotel) and despite central location the rooms are very quiet. The rooms could do with a refresh as some furniture is a bit scuffed and shabby but did not interfere in comfort of our stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Rydges South Bank. The staff and service was absolutely top notch. Friendly, sincere and very helpful. The room was clean and modern. The bed and pillows were incredible comfortable. Nothing was too much to ask for. Room service was quick and reasonably priced. Only negative is there is no parking at the hotel so you have to pay $55 per night for valet.

Lovely apartment with great views. Fantastic pool area. Great location for south bank and Fish Lane and a easy walk across to Queen St Mall. Staff were so friendly, helpful and really nice. Definitely stay there again.

The hotel is nice and clean. For it's price it's worth the value and a short distance walk to everything plus providing parking for your car. The only thing I thought was missing is the hotel didn't provide any water to use for making tea and coffee that is provided.
