We have just completed our 15th annual stay at the Oliver Inn and, remarkably, it gets better every year! Alice and Tom never stop working to create a more luxurious, comfortable, welcoming experience for all of their guests. All of the five-star reviews are totally deserved. Decor, atmosphere, service, meals (and fresh chocolate chip cookies) are wonderful. On your next visit, be sure to take time to appreciate the Neto Lou’s restoration of the Victorian exterior. It is amazing that Tom and Alice found time for such an extensive project, but like everything at the Inn, they did it perfectly. Visit, you will not be disappointed!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful home, well maintained, serene setting on manicured grounds. We were here at the Oliver Inn 15 years ago and the same owners greeted us! They are situated within a few blocks of downtown, but you would never know it. The breakfast was great and they handled my wife’s gluten sensitivity!

A beautiful inn, and such nice people. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable, quiet even facing the street. Such a nice yard with chairs and a swing. Breakfast was fresh-baked items, sausage and fresh fruit (!). There was a refrigerator available and snacks, fresh cookies and fruit squares. We were there only one night but of 10 places we slept on our 2 week adventure, this was the best.

This home exceeded our expectations. The home was a lovely Victorian, with lots of character. The bedrooms were beautiful. The home is located next to the Tippecanoe restaurant and near the Studebaker museum. It's a short drive to Notre Dame university. The hosts Alice and Tom were wonderful and made us feel right at home. The big surprise was the fantastic breakfast. We would definitely stay here again when we pass through South Bend.

We had a delightful time staying at the Oliver Inn, 630 W.Washington St, South Bend Indiana. Great place to stay if you are visiting the university or just there for vacation. Excellent and varied breakfast home made every morning. Very attentive and helpful owners. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast and would stay there again. My husband left some items and the host and hostess graciously mailed them back to us. Beth & Keith

My wife and I (and our puppy) had a lovely time at the Oliver Inn. The hosts, Alice and Tom, are welcoming, competent, and very caring. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is exquisite. Tom and Alice have created a luxurious, comfortable environment and provide service that goes beyond the extra mile. The Oliver Inn has become our second home when we travel to South Bend to visit our son's family. Enjoy!

Fantastic B & B! Tom and Alice were stupendous hosts, and breakfast was marvelous. Our accommodations were phenomenal as well. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the sheets were divine. Outstanding location near downtown and justca short drive to Notre Dame.

One of the best experiences we've had! My fiancé and I were in town for the weekend and have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before. The Oliver Inn exceeded every expectation that we could've imagined! Tom and Alice were incredibly polite, professional, and helpful in giving us recommendations about South Bend. The Inn itself was so historic and cool, and the breakfast was delicious! The location is great too, you can walk right downtown to several bars and restaurants. Would 100% recommend :)

Beautiful historic property and wonderful hosts, Tom and Alice. We were there 4 nights and every morning Alice had prepared different breakfast items - all were over the top wonderful. We were in town for a family reunion and my mother shared the carriage house with my husband and I so we felt like we were in our own little home. This was our second time staying at the Oliver Inn for family visits and will stay there again, so much better than a hotel room.
