Downsides: The check in was awful, limited staff and quite rude which was a difficult start after a long journey. The room (after asking for accessible) was down three flights of stairs, I was told I could change rooms after 24 hours which wasn’t worth the hassle. There is a smoking space in the main hotel Lobby which is gross as there are no doors it’s just a separate area in the main bar so everyone has to breathe it in. Bed bugs! After returning home I had to visit the GP and was informed it is bed bug bites 🤢 The slides are out of action so if you’re booking with little Kids be aware they aren’t open until later in the year. There was no day time entertainment. Positives: The food was good, a decent supply of different dishes and good veggie options The beach was nice and a welcome space. The indoor pool was great as the outdoor pool was freezing We made the best of it but wouldn’t return, definitely not a four star. If it had been rated a three I may have reviewed differently

Me and my partner went away for a holiday retreat to Tunisia. We was always travelling and touring different parts of Sousse and coming back to the hotel was a delight. The dinner was wonderful and was very accommodating to my vegetarian partner, the breakfast was absolutely beautiful with fresh crepes, omelettes, chichi, as well as lots of wonderful Tunisian jam spreads. Every single staff member was fantastic, happy and ready to serve. The receptionists and bar staff were very accommodating, as were the cleaners and animation team. The best service we encountered was without a doubt the food court, where the waiters are fabulously social and the chefs were highly skilled and enthusiastic about the food their serving. A special thank you to the waiter Nader, and the Tall Chef who seems to always work by the pasta and pizza section (I didn't catch his name!) They both made our stay extra special Thank you to the Occidental Marhaba team for always being so warm, catering and giving the BEST service.

I had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, right by the beach, offering stunning views. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, featuring a variety of local and international dishes
