The view from the balcony is outstanding. The location is good, 20-30 mins walk from the town centre but there’s a shuttle that can take you into town or back to the hotel multiple times per day. The pool is clean, cool and rarely busy. The breakfast is decent and the staff there are very friendly and attentive. Sorrento is an expensive place to stay and Johanna Park represents good value for money

The whole stay at Johanna’s park Hotel was very satisfying.
The hotel provides you with a service that takes you straight into the town centre and back, same goes for the time table regarding the scheduled pick up times.
Staff was welcoming and helpful, rooms spacious and reliable for what the hotel advertises.
An absolute favourite was the breakfast, INSANE!
The guys working there and serving us were full of passion and love for what they do.
Definitely going back!

The room is big, the attitude is good, but it is a bit far and the transportation is not convenient

The bold waiter in the diner il lemoneta was the worst waiter I’ve ever seen. I asked for a waiter and put my hand up he looked at me and kept walking I booked this 1 month ago and the Pool was so green Ants everywhere and bets are the equivalent of a brick wall .

We stayed at the Johanna park hotel for 5 nights. On first arrival it is quiet a distance from Sorrento having cost €30.00 from the train station in a taxi. We then took advantage of the free shuttle bus which was brilliant. The hotel is very clean with such helpful staff with a beautiful breakfast with stunning views. I would definitely recommend staying.

It was a quiet hotel. The room was clean and had some authentic charm. The room key was easy to find in your purse! It was a little larger, but unique! Lol The dinners were quite reasonable and the food was very tasty. The service was good and we were always sure to have our cappuccino served each morning with a friendly smile.

We stayed here for four nights as part of an Air Canada package in August. The hotel is far from the city center, and a cab costs 35 euros to get to the port. The shuttle doesn't start until 9 a.m., but we had to be at the port by 8 a.m. The shower setup is odd, with the shower head in the middle of the bathtub, causing the floor to get very wet after each use. The furniture is very outdated, and the towels were often stained. The night shift front desk staff was discourteous; when we asked to borrow an umbrella, we were given a broken red one, and when we returned it, the staff member muttered under his breath. The two restaurant servers were equally curt and dismissive. At breakfast, the tall, older server would ask patrons what drinks they wanted but skipped our table, possibly because we are Asian. I had to rush through breakfast as my family and I felt very uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we had no other option since the stay was part of a vacation package. However, I recommend avoiding this hotel, as I'm sure you can find better service for the same price.

The pictures of the hotel are lovely, but it was more worn in person. We had a family room for four people, and when we arrived, it needed to be set up for all four of us. An additional cot was added, leaving the room with beds across the width. It made the room very tight, with no actual room for luggage. The breakfast buffet was good. The lunch and dinner menu was not as good.

Lots of lovely reviews about this hotel so thought we would go to the restaurant for a meal. What a horrible little man that works there as a waiter. Very condescending to us and made a remark when I wouldn’t allow him to go off with my card to pay elsewhere. Went to pay and he and the man behind reception spoke in Italian and started laughing. Obviously about me. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Our tour group stayed two nights at this hotel. I stayed in room 205 which still uses a real metal key instead of a key card to open the door. Room had a view of the ocean. There was an unstocked mini-fridge under the desk. A small safe was located in the closet. The bathroom didn’t have a tub but a shower stall. I found it cramped in the shower stall. Bathroom has a bidet next to the toilet. The free wi-fi was easy to connect and fast enough for my needs. Breakfast buffet in the hotel dining room was typical of Italian hotels.

Such a beautiful location and hotel. It feels like you've stepped into an Italian estate. The staff were amazing, the food - delicious. Our room was perfect with a comfortable mattress... but when will Italy realize we need better pillows. lol... What it's NOT, is close to the action of downtown Sorrento. For what we were doing, it was perfection. But when I got back to Sorrento, I'll stay within walking distance to the shopping and piers.

This was our first stay in Italy. The staff at this motel are the super stars! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. A shuttle is provided for trips into central Sorrento. Again, the staff were amazing, even transporting us to the train station on our departure. The rooms are basic - with everything you need including self-adjusting air con, a safe, and even a boudoir in the bathroom! Breakfasts consist of bacon, eggs, a range of cereals, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, pastries, tarts, toast… with staff available to serve and ensure you are well catered for. Restaurant evening meals are simple yet satisfying after a busy day. While we found the service can be a little slow when the restaurant is full, the minimal staff work incredibly hard! Then there’s the delightful and well-kept pool. Special thanks go to Fillepo, Giuseppe, the epic little waiter, and the man we called a Robert De Niro look-a-like! You will fall inlove with this place if you visit!

The hotel was great. The pool was lovely but quite cool. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was exceptional with so much choice of home made pastries and cakes. The only downside was the shuttle which only runs very limited times of the day, so you need to plan you days out carefully as taxis are an extortionate price, due the location on the top of a very very steep cliff, that's impossible to walk up.
