It was a nice hotel, close enough to a lot of recreational activities but far away enough to be quiet. Breakfast buffet was good and affordable. Convenience was attached to the building so you have everything you need. 😊

The amount I paid for our three days staying at the hotel paid off. Its cleanness and amenities were excellent, its location to the nearby restaurant was very convenient. The ocean view was phenomenal. Parking guide was there 24/7 and I liked it very much. The front desk girls were very nice and polite. I strongly recommend this place to anyone. Five stars rated plus

It's a very new and high-end apartment-style hotel with beautiful views from the high floors. The facilities are very good and there's a washing machine in the room. It is within walking distance to Sokcho Beach and a little distance from the bus station. There are few buses, so it is recommended to take a taxi directly. The biggest disadvantage is that some front desks have poor English skills and can communicate with mobile phone translators. In addition, the elevator configuration is insufficient.

The night we checked in, the TV wasn't working. The next morning, no hot water running when taking shower. They led us to free sauna though. Clean room with comfy table to have dinner in the room. Have a sink and washing machine. Location was perfect, very close from downtown Sokcho.

The service of the hotel is very good. Although it is not big, it is enough for two people. It has everything you need and you can store your luggage. There is a GS25 downstairs which is very convenient. It is not far from the bus station and Daiso and Emart are nearby.

The room I reserved only had towels, water, and a hair dryer, no Netflix, no slippers, and no robe. For those staying multiple nights, if you leave the towel you used that day in front of the door, they will hang the towel and water on the doorknob the next day! I couldn't eat breakfast because they said they don't eat in the morning. It was good because it seemed like I used it well and cost-effectively.

Was really looking forward to my stay at the Kensington Hotel Seorak. But when I pay $263AU / night I have a certain expectation that a 4 star hotel will live up to the hype. The service at the check-in desk and in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel itself exudes 'history' and it was interesting spending time looking at the library, hallways and various displays on offer. The menus were adequate for our stay and we spent 29000KRW on the chicken and beer offer on the first night and the steak and wine (120000KRW) on the second night. Breakfasts were 29000KRW/pp or 10% off if you book at check-in were also value for money. However several aspects let the hotel down. Hot water was hard to get - I tried for an afternoon shower and again at midnight with no luck. Larger hotels in Korea tend to have central control over the air conditioning, so if you like a cool room you'll be out of luck by October?? Even having the small window open, and turning of the 'air conditioning, the room was stuffy. Having found a laundry bag and order form I was told that the hotel no longer offered that service. Disappointing. The towels were worn / frayed on the edges (they've passed their useabe date) and though the hotel room we were in had a great view the windows were so grubby it was hard to really enjoy the view. While I appreciate COVID has had an impact on the hotel industry generally, I'm pretty certain that the Kensington, with its views and proximity to Seoraksan, faired better than most. While I would stay here again I would like to think that for prime pricing the Kensington could up its game and ensure that such small issues were addressed.

I'm doing a hotel tour these days. It was a place I chose on the way back after leaving. I have helped at a nearby hotel. The facilities are similar and it's probably because it's an old hotel. There are some parts that are damaged, but overall it is good. The price is okay too Maybe it’s because it’s not peak season yet. It was quiet From the morning, I heard the sound of children running down the hallway. I woke up but slept well. The shampoo provided is not good. I think it would be a good idea to bring it. The beach is close across the street I arrived at night and stopped by and it was nice. It's nice that it's close to convenience stores, etc. There was also a coffee shop. Just one thing! I entered the hotel and went straight to the bathroom. Toilet bowl is not cleaned Dirty on the toilet seat Look at what's buried I was surprised. I think this is the part you need to pay the most attention to. It's really obvious that you did a sloppy cleaning. Please pay a little more attention to cleanliness I think it would be better

It can't be helped because it's an old building. I couldn't sleep all night because the noise from the next room and the noise from the floor were so bad that I couldn't even hear anything. I live in an apartment and the noise from the floor is normal, but this isn't that bad. The facilities were clean and well-maintained despite being old. And the staff were friendly.

Good choice for travelers! Nearby from hotel, have an express bus station and beautiful beach ❤️! At room I use a machine laundry, microwave and seaview from room. But small terrace doesn’t clean - think about it. Next time I stay here 😉
