From 1935, this grand old lady works well. The cold war leaves it a little down at heal, but the water is spot on, breakfast good. They have a mini bar unlike some chains so there is a fridge in room to cool drinks as well.
Opposite a ministry and it is location, location and location as the Islandic consulate concurs

Totale Katastrophe. Bitte schliesse. Sofort!
Totale Katastrophe!!! Unglaublich verdreckt, Schimmel überall, die "Zimmer" stinken wie die Pest! Extrem laut. Zimmer nicht solide abschliessbar. Einbrecher haben jederzeit Zugang über die Balkone mit undesichrten Fenstetn und Türen. Jetzt der Hammer: am Morgen NULL!!! Wasser!!! Und das bis weit in den Mittag. Niemand benachrichtigt die Gäste oder bringt Wasser in einem solchen Chaos. Auschecken war eigentlich eine Flucht aus der Hölle. Wie kann ein Anbieter so einen Laden überhaupt anbieten. Ich verlange definitiv mein Geld zurück!!!
