Check in was ok room ok bed comfy and shower ok Fan in room ok But that’s were it stops we both paid £7 each for breakfast between 08-15 and 09-00 The alarm bells started to ring when we was the only ones for breakfast when it came you could of fitted it on a side plate the bacon was so overdone like cardboard my egg was hard boiled and the yolk was grey my sausage was missing when it came it was awful I had a small piece and spat it out into a tissue the fried bread was the size of a cheese triangle and inedible you told us hash browns were on there way they came 12 minutes later by this time we just put them on the plate and went back to our room collected our things and left to get a decent breakfast in skegness this was the worst breakfast we have ever had would I stay here again certainly not that breakfast was so bad you only had two people and you couldn’t get that write I hate to think what would happen if more turned up

Booked to stay for 2 nights this weekend, but had a phone call on Saturday morning from my girlfriend's neighbour to say there was a ( thankfully minor) problem at her house. As a result we had to head back a day early. Our room (301) was on the 2nd floor and was bigger than the one we had stayed in on previous visits. The bed could have been more comfortable but the room overall was fine. There was a decent selection on offer for breakfast including cooked, and very nice it was too. They do offer off road parking, but the access is via a narrow driveway so we parked on the road outside. You are only about 10 minutes level walk from the town centre and seafront so the accommodation is well situated , tucked away on a quiet road.

Great little hotel, in a grat location, a couple minutes walk from Skegness sea front. Was greeted well on arrival and shown to our room. The key fob for the front door wasn't explained on check in so had to ask the owner once we left for the first evening. The family room is a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a double and single in the en suite room and a single in the second room there is also a second toilet. Both bedrooms had flat screen tvs with free view. We weren't offered breakfast on arrival but we wasn't really bothered about that. Rooms were very clean and tidy but I would say a makeover would make this hotel even better. The only downside was the WiFi never seemed to work were we were on the top floor, so they could do with investing in a couple WiFi boosters. Overall enjoyed our stay at the home star and would definitely return.
