I was up at 8 checking my phone when the door unlocked and someone tried opening it. Housekeeping didn't knock or anything so make sure to lock your doors, because they don't check their hotel software to verify if someone is staying in the room currently. Hotel is beautiful and everything else was nice, but it was pretty freaky to just have your door open unexpectedly. Thankfully I had the deadbolt and top lock on.

We stayed here for the convenience to the airport. We had good experiences with the desk clerks. The pillows were wonderful, but it’s time to replace the mattress. Airplane noise was somewhat muffled, but still noticeable. The sheets were clean, but the room was probably the dustiest hotel room I have ever stayed in. You can see where I swiped the dust with my finger in the photo. We pulled the desk out farther to use for eating, and there was a used toothpick on the far side that had been tucked away when the desk was pushed in. The bathroom has one of those barn doors that have a gap so there’s not much privacy. I also had to pay an airport convenience fee. I have stayed in SF enough times to know that it wouldn’t take me that long to drive to a decent hotel in town that didn’t have an airport fee, would have free parking and would be under $200 a night. To me the location was not worth the subpar cleanliness, hard mattress and extra charges.
