First night I killed a big cockroach in the bathroom which had a busted lock on the door. The towels were stained, the fan didn’t work, the prices for the room changed arbitrarily during the week, they only booked me for 3 days instead of the four I requested online, so I had to wait til checkout day for some reason to extend my stay, this is a place I would’ve paid maybe $30 for in the 90’s but for some reason these same dumps are almost $100 a night now?! Speaking of dumps, the hallways smelled like farts all week. ***. Never Again.

The hotel had a cozy, charming vibe, and everything about it was designed for comfort and relaxation. The staff made sure we felt right at home from the start, offering personalized recommendations for things to do around the area. Our room was quiet and super comfortable.The breakfast served was delicious. If you’re looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay without the huge price tag, this hotel is perfect. I’ll definitely return for another stay!”

Nothing fancy but comfy and a great value This Econolodge is my go-to for a quick stop betweej Mpls enroute to the Black Hills. It's no frills but comfy and SO handy for I-90 traffic. It even has a small pool which I didn't use but looked fine. My rooms have always been clean and well equipped, although with prices this low one has to anticipate worn and shabby furnishings. To their credit, current owners have made great strides in cleaning up the property and making it more presentable, especially the public areas which used to seem quite run down. Is it safe? -- fun fact, on one trip I accidentally left my car unlocked and RUNNING all night. Nobody touched it.

We stayed at this property a few months ago and it was good. Recently stayed and it was like night and day. The roon wasn't close to the same. No clock in the room which is a must dor a traveler, breakfast was waffles and cereal.
