Sofitel Hotels in Singapore

The staff is very friendly, and many of them speak Chinese. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Universal Studios; just ask the front desk for the departure times. There's also a free island shuttle service nearby, which you can take back to the hotel in the evenings, and it's easy to find using Google Maps. The beach is just a short walk from the hotel, offering views of the Strait of Malacca. The hotel boasts plenty of entertainment facilities, including a swimming pool and a fish pond, and you can even spot peacocks. The rooms are spacious, featuring both a bathtub and a shower, and are very clean and tidy.

Had higher expectations of Sofitel due to its 5-star rating and global reputation. However, we were left slightly disappointed by the service. The staff knew it was my birthday staycation when i checked in, but made no further attempt to acknowledge it besides wishing me happy birthday. Other than that, the room was clean and the location was fantastic.
