Hotels in Geylang, Singapore

First rime coming here and it's clean, nearby got food places , got marts, geylang area so its , quite a convenient place , got bus stop nearby and value for money. Service Staff was nice sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good stay most of the time. Thank u:)

The hotel is a pleasant surprise, I never expect a budget option in Geylang to be this nice. The standard queen bed room I stayed is newly renovated so everything is still pristine and clean. The Serta bed is firm yet appropriately soft; and the water pressure in the shower is pretty adequate. The minibar, consisting of a beer and 2 non-carbonated soft drinks as well as 2 small bags of chips, is modest but it is complementary so no complaints. The receptionists are friendly. To counter vice, there are many CCTV around and in the property, all visitors even non-staying ones must report to the front desk with their valid ID, and no on-call service provider is allowed in the room. Hence, this hotel is great for family and solo travellers (who are not looking for “extra” services).

I booked a room with no window. The environment is humid, and the cleanliness is 3/5. The soundproofing is not that great, but for its price, it’s reasonable. Location wise is good , the bus stop just near by and go many places

I'm glad that it's a nice comfort room. Only the next room kept slamming the door loudly. As I requested a quiet room for my birthday. The counter staff is nice and friendly and very fast to check in.

The room is big and the view is nice. The bathtub can’t be used as bathtub it’s old and stains. Some furniture are a bit scratched but they all seem nice to me. The only small problem I had is I got the room at 3rd floor which has the view of a swimming pool. The window and the pool is like only one or two feet away so I can see the other people outside and they can see me too. The fourth floor was full so I changed it to second floor. Then I gave the key and went out to buy snack. When I came back, the counter staff were changed. I asked my room keys but they gave it to other customer. The old staff asked the new one “ did you check whether the room is registered or not? The key here are taken . You can’t give it to others” etc. i didn’t hear all of their problems because they asked me to wait in the living room. So they called the customer down or he came down by himself (I didn’t understand them because they were speaking in Chinese) the staff gave him another room. And he registered me again. It was a bit awkward for me because someone was in my room and the place where I put my clothes is opened. But I can understand their error or misunderstanding so this is not a bad review. Just sharing my experience

Good location with plenty of restaurants and a bit of history in the area. Walkable transport links - bus/metro. Clean and spacious rooms with kettle, fridge, toiletries and slippers. Could do with having a chair though. For rooms without windows it can feel dark even with all the lights as the decor is dark wood doors. It would be good to have an imitation window with light perhaps.

Pretty clean and convenient hotel, not situated in the typical non-touristy area of Singapore. Tons of food options in the area with it being situated in Katong, which is laid back neighbourhood with bars/cafes/malls in the vicinity too. No onsite parking available but there’s road side parking. Situated near to the expressway that connects to Changi Airport, which is perfect for those looking for quick rest before heading to the airport. Only issue was some cobwebs on the roof of the toilet which was requested to be cleaned. Likely due to the housekeeping staff being short or probably because I am tall which I might run into it. 🤣 Room size isn’t that huge but cosy enough, no fascinating views since its shophouses and previously one of Hotel 81’s chain that was converted IIRC. Will visit again!

Everything is good. Front desk staff were all helpful. Aircon take few minutes to start up, the room could be very warm while you just back from outside. You may request another key card from staff to make sure the A/C is not cut off.

Everything as I've reviewed from my previous repeated visit and pleasant stay this very hotel (except for the lack of sound proofing). Only this time, I was questioned by the morning (14.02.2025) shift housekeeping staff who asked me in Malay (but I think he is Chinese) in a rather harsh manner probably thinking that I am not a guest, when I entered through the back door. My opinion, just like Champion Hotel (A Hotel now), guests would need the card-key to enter from the back door which makes it convenient for the guests and at the same time ensuring no intruders. Since getting a car park lot is much easier at Onan Road as compared to Joo Chiat (Hotel main entrance) it is best that the hotel makes the back door accesible to guests. Thank you.

Hotel not clean that much, hv low price, near bus stop ( walk for 3 minutes) and near lots of restaurant. Understanding that this hotel is for budget trip, when compare with the price & cleaning. This quality is understandable and okie. However, always have smell of cigarette outside. Not recommend for women and kid. Btw, i love bathroom and bed.
