The front desk staff were very polite, always greeting me whenever I passed by. The swimming pool on the 4th floor offers beautiful views of the surroundings and a unique vantage point to photograph the hotel (see picture). The room size was just right, and for environmental protection ♻️, bottled water isn't provided. Instead, there's a water dispenser on every floor. My only regret is that I forgot to request a room on a higher floor with the best view. Room 530 on the 5th floor was quite a trek from the elevator 🛗. After exiting, I walked an estimated 99 meters, turned at the corner, and then walked another 25 meters or so. The buffet, priced at 20 SGD per person, offered very limited choices and wasn't good value for money. Alternatively, you could find more options at a shopping center just a 3-4 minute walk away, though food there might only be available after 10 AM.

I recently stayed at the Loft Room at Citadines Science Park Singapore. Overall, it’s a visually stunning and comfortable space — best suited for solo travelers or short business stays. --- Pros: ✨ Design & Ambiance: The loft-style layout with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows offers a bright, modern, and peaceful vibe. 🛏️ Loft Bedroom: The sleeping area on the upper level is cozy and well-structured, with a clean design and a solid staircase. 🧑🍳 Kitchenette: Equipped with an induction hob, sink, microwave, fridge, and some utensils — convenient for light meals or a quick coffee. 🛁 Clean Bathroom: Good water pressure, sleek fixtures, and a tidy shower area — though no bathtub is provided. 🍜 Nearby Food Options: A hawker centre is located just next door (open weekdays only), which is great for grabbing affordable local meals. --- Cons: 📏 Compact Size: The room is quite small. It might feel cramped if you're traveling as a couple with multiple large bags. 🛍️ Groceries: There’s no supermarket nearby within easy walking distance. If you’re planning to cook, buy groceries before arrival. 🚨 Emergency Sirens: The hotel is near a hospital, so you may occasionally hear emergency vehicles passing by. 🚪 Missing Essentials: No tissue boxes, razors, bathrobes, or slippers were provided — minor details, but noticeable for the price. 🚫 No Balcony Access: While the room has tall windows and a nice view, there’s no actual access to a balcony, which may disappoint guests expecting one. 🛁 No Bathtub: Considering the room’s price point, some guests may expect a bathtub, but only a standing shower is provided. --- Final Thoughts: The Loft Room offers a peaceful and stylish stay with great lighting and a cozy atmosphere. While compact and lacking a few expected amenities, it’s still a solid choice if you’re traveling light and appreciate good design. Just plan ahead for groceries, and don’t expect full balcony access or a soaking tub.

The hospitality was amazing! I want to come again. The hotel clerk was kind enough to grant my wish. I definitely want to stay here again when I come to Singapore. The location was very convenient and the house was very clean. There was a tap in the room so you could drink water freely. The laundry was also open 24 hours a day and was clean. I really love Quincy! I'll come again!

It is our second time to book in this hotel. First is the common one last February to clebrate my husand bday and we are delighted to the amenities and service that is why I decided to celebrate my brithday here as well. This time we book the premier suite where we can cook, wash and will have a spacious room too. Honest review here 😘 Pros: 1st the room is big and spacious but quite old 2nd Has kitchenette but incomplete no frying pan, no pair of scissor, 2 set of spoon and fork only, hopefully have a strainer too hihi 3rd has a washing mahcine which is a bonus points. 4th facility average 5th location GREAT near mall and mrt though 6th staff are friendly and approachable 7th the great part - allowed as for 30mins late check out *which I put under request pre booking Cons: 1st as mentioned kitchenette utensils needs to be reviewed or add on some basics stuff (if possible) 2nd Cleaning service is by request, not auto until we put the signage. 3rd the light from the kitchen sink fell but they immediately fix it. 4th the room quite old and dusty. the carpet sorry looks not vaccumed well. 5th TV or entertainment is less, sound is cracking and lights flickering inside the bedroom but the common room is okay. Still, overall we are still please and will definitely comeback with the price of early bird booking, it wss such a wonderful deal. The staff are great, friendly, approachable. thank you so much and more power. 🫶🙏

Cleanliness - 4/5 - The room was very clean. However, when we entered there was a pool of water on the floor since the freezer in the fridge had defrosted as the power had been off. Location - 5/5 - We were looking for a hotel within walking distance of NUS and this suited our needs. Service - 2/5 - Check in was straightforward. Not sure which category to classify this but there was a power outage during our stay which made things quite inconvenient and there was no communication from the staff about it. The emergency light was on in our room most of the night which made the stay quite uncomfortable. Amenities - 5/5 - The provided a lot of amenities, like cooking facilities, toothbrush and toothpaste, and a shaving kit. It was very good.

A pleasant, comfortable, clean, looks new budget hotel. Halal eateries and others nearby, bustops right in front of hotel entrance and across the road with various routes to city and elsewhere make it a place of stay which offers a lot of convenience. Al-Fayidah Restaurant opens 7am-2am, while al-Amaan offers tasty Indian Muslim and Thai style cuisines opens daily 11am-5am. Masjid Hussein Sulaiman is a 6-8mins walking distance. Check-in was smooth and Mr Firdaus the front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Except that the room was rather small, no cupboard just hooks. No bottled drinking water. No hook in⁷No fridge only hair dryer and basic toiletries provided.

This is a high end duplex studio with amazing views and plenty of space for a couple. And the fairly large balcony makes it special. It would have been even better if there would have been a nice settee on the balcony, and if smoking on the balcony would be allowed. After all, it is outdoors. Now it’s just a barren flat space, that seems to be intended only to hang one’s laundry, or as I did, park one’s bicycle. Also, the “no guests after 22:30” feels a bit too patronising/moralistic. No loud noises after 22:30 would be more appropriate. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect for academia, but perhaps a bit too far from everything for the average tourist. Especially since the area very much is a daytime economy. In the evening the area is largely dead, except for nearby Timbre. All in all. Very good value for money.

This hotel, renovated from a Singapore MRT carriage, appears to have just opened in 2025. The interior is exactly as advertised. It's very clean and tidy, with no odors. Check-in and check-out are self-service, and both Chinese and English are available. Accessibility is quite convenient. While it's a bit far from the city center, it's relatively close to NUS. It's a 10-minute walk to One North MRT station, or to the bus station that takes you downtown. The journey to the city center takes about 40 minutes to an hour. A food court filled with containers is a 2-minute walk away. The breakfast coffee and toast are delicious, and locals line up early on weekdays. There are also plenty of food options below the MRT station. The prices are affordable, though they increase on public holidays. The average price per night is just over 500 RMB. If it's not a public holiday, it's around 400 RMB. It's very comfortable for one person. It might be a bit cramped for two people, with barely enough space for standing room, but we've seen couples with one or two children staying here. One room has a cab in the front, which is more expensive. The other seven rooms are standard rooms. The soundproofing was acceptable, though I could occasionally hear noises from the neighbors, motorcycles, and chickens outside the window, but overall it was very quiet. The blackout was good, though if you opened the curtains you could see people outside during the day. Shower gel, shampoo, and toilet paper were provided, but there seemed to be no towels, toothpaste, or toothbrushes. The sink was a bit small. I couldn't figure out how to use the water heater; it sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. However, Singapore has been so hot these days that I took cold showers at night and didn't use the water heater. There are vending machines, a washing machine, and a microwave outside, but I didn't use them this time. Overall, it's a very good hotel, especially for transportation enthusiasts (or anyone interested in other types of vehicles).

Walking is pleasant in central areas like Marina Bay or Orchard Road, and everything is well-connected, so you rarely need to worry about traffic.

Tips for Booking Singapore Hotels

Book Early for Peak Seasons

Hotels in Singapore get booked up quickly during Chinese New Year, the Formula 1 Grand Prix (September), and year-end holidays. If you’re visiting around these times, it’s best to reserve your stay well in advance. Popular areas like Marina Bay and Orchard Road usually have higher prices and limited availability.

Watch Out for Major Events

Big events such as the Singapore Grand Prix, National Day celebrations, and international conferences bring in large crowds. Hotel rates often rise during these periods, so booking early ensures you secure a good location without overspending.

Save with Booking Perks

Platforms like Trip.com often offer discounts and special perks. New users can sometimes enjoy extra savings on selected hotels, which means more budget left for dining at hawker centers or trying a rooftop bar with city views.

Stay Smart with Location Choices

If you want to save on your hotel, you don’t have to stay right in the middle of Orchard Road. Consider these areas:

  • Bugis – Affordable stays with plenty of shopping and dining nearby.
  • Chinatown – Budget-friendly hotels surrounded by food streets, temples, and MRT access.
  • Little India – Colorful neighborhood with good value guesthouses and lots of local charm.
