The first time staying this area and it was so lovely with all the nice shop houses and fed restaurants nearby. The room was pretty small but tidy and got a little sea view too.  Originally I have requested a double bed room but they gave me the twin beds as I checked in quite late. The breakfast was quite ok even though not much expectation.  Overall experience was quite good and I will definitely come back for business travel stay !

Our family had a very wonderful time staying at Grand Mercure East booked 2 rooms from 29th Jan to 31st Jan I would like to thank Ms Sham from Sales dept for arranging an Elderly Friendly room for my 96 year old mother. As for myself, I, too, enjoyed the room assigned by the front desk staff, John . We also enjoyed the Cafe food served on the 1st floor. Ms. JULIET, the staff from this cafe was very professional putting her *SWEET SMILE * all day long and she patiently walked us through the menu and highly recommended us the Chef speciality dishes . Most important was my mum enjoyed the dish Hai Cheong Kai which was Highly recommendedby Ms Juliet...The hotel location is fantastic ,many local food eateries, a Mall is just 5 mins across the hotel. In addition, the Train station is just 5 mins walk directly opposite this hotel* Superb convenient for overseas visitors arrival at Changi airport to this hotel* Juliet keeps up your *Fantastic Good Service *. You made Grand Mercure Hotel proud as your service is SUPERB GOOD .*Juliet deserves a promotion* .. We definitely will recommend friends to stay at Grand Mercure hotel. Thank you Ms Sham John and Juliet for making our CNY 2 nights stays so wonderful .

The rooms were spacious and clean. The soundproofing and air conditioning were good, although the air conditioning thermostat made frequent noises throughout the night. Breakfast offered a good selection, however, it was rather expensive for what was provided. Overall, it was a pleasant two-night stay, and the pool and gym were welcome additions although closed one of our days.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, an IHG Hotel, on June 1st, 2024, and overall, our experience was enjoyable with a few highlights and considerations. Location and Accessibility: Located in the vibrant Katong neighborhood, the hotel offers a unique blend of heritage and contemporary charm. It's well-connected to local attractions and offers a glimpse into Singapore's Peranakan culture. Check-in Experience: Check-in was smooth, and we were pleased to find that our request for connected rooms—a 2 Twin Beds Standard and a King Bed Standard—was accommodated promptly by the friendly staff. Rooms: The rooms were tastefully decorated, reflecting the Peranakan theme of the hotel. They were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with amenities that suited our needs. Having connected rooms was particularly convenient for our family stay. Breakfast: While the breakfast was included, we found it to be average compared to other offerings we've experienced at similar hotels. The variety was somewhat limited, and the quality was satisfactory but not exceptional. Service and Facilities: The hotel staff were courteous and attentive throughout our stay. They were helpful in providing information about local attractions and dining options in the area. The hotel facilities, including the rooftop pool and fitness center, added to our overall enjoyment. Overall Impression: Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong provided a pleasant stay with its comfortable rooms, convenient location, and attentive service. While the breakfast could be improved, the connected rooms and ambiance of the hotel made up for it.

The hotel room is above my expectations, very clean, wifi is good, amenities are good (there's iron, ironing board, hair dryer & kettle), tv is good (I watched HBO while resting) and the water heater is working well. I didn't stay in the room the whole day as I was out for an event, so this room is more than enough for my trip. It was quiet at night. There's a supermarket nearby (Fair price at Jhoo Kiat Mall), there's also halal food nearby. I only ate at Nasi Lemak Hijau next to the hotel. Nice hot coffee, and toast during breakfast. Oh by the way their staff are very friendly. If you guys looking for a good budget hotel, I recommend this place.

Check in was very quick and smooth. The room itself was also clean and quite spacious. Location was great since there's a lot of halal food options around the area and along the street. Getting to the nearest MRT station (Paya Lebar) was easy and convenient as well. Overall would recommend!

Front desk staff were very friendly very Professional in introducing the hotel facilities and around the amenities. We felt very Welcoming as a repeated guest.Location is fantastic many good food from Local Chinese food to Western food .A good location for overseas guests to see Singapore's Unique local people's lifestyle and all types of Delicious local food. Meantime we are enjoying our stays !

The place looks better than what is shown in the pictures, recently renovated. The rooms were perfect, all amenities provided. Clean linen, customer service is perfect and so friendly, they even gave me recommendations of places to try out. This place location is right in the middle of everything, from many food courts to grocery stores, train station, bus station, You name it. I will definitely visit again. With the prices tag, it honestly exceeded my expectations.

It was a wonderful stay in this hotel. The location is good. Near different restaurants and bars. Near the East coast when you want to walk to the beach early morning. near i12 mall and so many good business establishments around. What we don't like is the receptionist lady, a filipina who is so arrogant and not helpful. We book the hotel room that they put have window and city view! but all we can see is roof and sky 😅. The bed is very comfortable room is good, Aircondition is working well. But just need a proper cleaning. When we move the bed to put together ,we saw all the messed and dust under the bed.

No body clean my room for 5 days when I stayed. The member staff when I ask service my room  nobody can help me. My wife forgot 1 shoe from Michael Kors  at a hotel but can you ask them sent to my house or not? Thx so much and have a wonderful today.
