A Hotel Bugis - Photo Gallery

Thank you so much for the great hospitality you have given to me and the receptionist named ‘Ann’ is doing such a wonderful work out there. So nice welcome and helped me to check in as well.

All is good except the deposit in cash. I didn't bother to change that amount and I didn't have cash in my local currency as well. Before writing this review, I reread the booking condition just now and it mentioned that it can be paid by credit card. If the hotel accepts cash only, please change the details so people can reconsider before booking.

The hotel room was nice and same as the photos they posted. But whej I was there at 3pm to check-in, they still let me wait for 20mins just for "checking the room", i don't know why, because normally the check-in time is 3:00pm, means everything need to be ready before that. The room temperature cannot adjust yourself in the room, you have to call to the reception to ask them to change whenever you need, this is not convenient, and they didn't public this information on their page. The cleanliness is not good, and the amenities are not enough, even the towel, only gave me 2 big one, no small towels.

The hotel I am currently staying at has a very clean room, located in the heart of Singapore, very convenient to travel anywhere, there is both the MRT and even buses, very convenient, the room is clean and spacious.

The hygiene is more on downside of the average same level of hotels in Singapore. Beware of cash deposit of SGD 50 (they accept cash only at reception), i refused to receive a torn banknote from them. Bugis is excellent location to everywhere.

TLDR: Book at your own risk and Use Trip.com at your own risk (No free cancellation as promised - Diamond / Diamond+ membership). Dirty, Poor Service, Expensive. Room received was really dirty. Mouldy walls. Broken shower head when my guest is just checked in after a long day. Totally not maintained at all. Asked to change room but was told to wait till next morning. So my guest had to suffer a night there with broken shower head that barely able to shower and with the dirty untidy bed and dirty toilet. My guest decided to checkout and stay at another accomodation the next morning. They refused to refund and only offered us to come back another time which we rejected, looking at how bad the accommodation is. Unable to refund even when my membership on trip is Diamond / Diamond +. In the end, Trip stepped in and only offered half the cost of the hotel stay I paid in trip coins.

Good locations just few steps walk to Bugis Junction.

!!pictures are from the first room I got!! I arrived to the hotel at 2 am, directly from the airport. Check in was quick and efficient. I went to my room and when i reached my floor i saw that all the corridor was so stained. and than when i got to my room i got really shocked! Everything was so dirty and old! The bed sheets were stained with yellow marks, and amount of dusk that was on the curtains was absolutely unreal, it seems like they didnt clean the curtains since they opened the hotel. The white transparent curtain became grey color cause of the amount of dust. I told the lady at the reception that no way im going to stay in this room, and its not an option for me. She immediately came and saw the room, it seems that she was surprised to see it too (dont know if she was acting or not), but she offered me to move to another room. She had 2 rooms available so she got me to see the rooms and let me choose which one i want. The other rooms were much better than the one i got. So i picked one and stayed there for the night, and she told me that she is really sorry for the inconvenience and tomorrow she will upgrade my room and move me to another one. I must say that the service is very good! This indian lady was very kind and helpful. Next day i got the other room, it was perfect (i didnt take photos of it!), but the room service is not that good. Every day i was missing something in the room - one day didnt have toilet paper, one day no coffee, another day the bed sheets wasn’t replaced. Location is great! I literally walked everywhere by foot! In conclusion, if you dont have high expectations so this hotel it great. If you have problems with cleanliness and room service so i dont know if i would have recommended it.
