We stayed in this lovely guesthouse for two nights taking two different rooms. Both rooms were lovely, very large, super clean and with a wonderful sea view. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the common areas very much. The heart of this house is Mandy, she is the perfect host. The kindest and most professional host I have ever met. She was very helpful in finding some toys to keep our little toddler occupied with and she arranged a driver to help us pick up dinner. The only downside was that since we didn’t have a car it was not very easy to go in town to find shops. Otherwise it is 10 minutes walking distance to the penguin beach. A lovely stay, we will surely come back and we want to thank Mandy and all the staff who have made our stay special.

Quiet and beautiful location in Simons Town.
We enjoyed 2 good nights and days at Mariner Guesthouse in Simons Town. Thanks a lot Mendy for assisting us changing to another room with a King Size bed instead and still with a beautiful view over Simons Bay.

It was a perfect location in a lovely little seaside town. Very close to Bouders Beach to see penguins and swim. only 30 minute drive from the park with Cape of Good Hope, Ostrich farm. Can hire a boat to go out to seal island from the cute little marina. Submarine museum is in the marina as well. It is an hour drive from Cape town airport. It was SUCH a quaint and tastefully decorated guesthouse. The ladies working were so kind and helpful. Good beds, good breakfast, amazing views, quiet neighborhood. Just the over all wonderful guesthouse! HIGHLY recommend! We were a family of 5.

We had an excellent stay for 5 nights starting our 2 weeks holiday trip in South Africa. Mariner Guesthouse was the perfect first stay and special thanks to Mandy for being a great host. Highly recommended!

This was my third stay at the Mariner's Guesthouse, and I would not stay anywhere else. The accommodations are top shelf, the staff is more than helpful and quite gregarious. They attend to every need with exceptional service and kindness. Not one complaint! By the way, Mandy who oversees the property, would be a blessing to any hospitality property! Wonderful person.

It was my second stay ans it was just perfekt. Mandy was so very lovley. The staff was so very kind. The room was very comforable with a great view and the Breakfast was so tastful, love the mermaid french toast.
