Beautiful place, great location, and excellent service - one of the best hotels in Sri Lanka!

Beautiful very peaceful resort. So calm. Stunning views, direct views of Sigiriya lion rock and Pidirangala rocks. Paddy fields on site. Very friendly helpful staff. Delicious food and plenty of choice. Pool is nice quite beautiful. Only about 8 chalets. So very quiet, Great place to retreat or enjoy Elephant also visited one day, which is a bonus. Comfortable spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Staff speaks multiple languages.

Visited this location for the day; simply incredible. The service was impeccable. The staff were kind and polite. I would absolutely suggest visiting here and staying.

Each room features comfy beds, crisp linens, air conditioning (a plus in the tropical heat), and a balcony overlooking either the verdant gardens or the resort’s inviting pool. Bathrooms are well-appointed: think hot showers, solid water pressure, and ample toiletries. Dining at the on-site restaurant is another highlight. Breakfasts feature both Western and Sri Lankan specialties—fresh fruit, hoppers, omelets, and fragrant sambols. Dinner offers authentic local dishes; the kottu and fish ambul thiyal were standouts, rich in flavor and perfectly spiced. The pool area is a lovely spot to unwind after climbing Sigiriya Rock. Towels are provided, sun loungers are plentiful, and staff ensures drinks arrive promptly. Excursions, such as guided tours up the rock, Minneriya Elephant Park safaris, and village hikes, can be arranged easily through the friendly front desk. The staff are a credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is peaceful and tranquil. The hotel provides outstanding food and service, and all staff were attentive and friendly at all times. I wouldn't hesitate coming back to this hotel if and when in Sigariya again, and will recommend to all my friends and family back in the UK when I return. Seriously outstanding hotel and staff.
