I liked the hotel for its swimming pool and neat buildings. The rooms have wooden doors to the balcony; on the first floors the balconies lead directly to the pool. We bought 2 dinners for 3600 rupees per person. On the first day, the food was not particularly tasty - everything was spicy, I only liked the fried eggplants and desserts. For the second dinner, the food tasted better, but the desserts weren't great. Of the fruits, as in all hotels in Sri Lanka, there were watermelons, pineapples and papaya. There was no cheese at breakfast, which is sad. We saved ourselves with an omelette. The worst thing is coffee from bags. For a hotel at this price it is unacceptable. Cocktails cost 1800 rupees, small and weak. On the first day they said that they don’t serve alcohol at all on the full moon holiday. I can recommend the hotel for 1-2 nights. Convenient location, large rooms, nice pool.

Il y a des hôtels ou d'entrée vous vous sentez bien. C'est exactement le cas de celui ci. La piscine vous invite à la baignade et le buffet vous donne envie de tout gouter. La réception et le service se font avec le sourire. Bref je le recommande.

We hebben onze tour geboekt via TUI en hier en daar enkele hotels aangepast waaronder ook het Fresco Water Villa in Sigriya. Hartelijk ontvangen door de onthaal medewerkers en zeer goed geholpen door de kruiers. in het hotel enkel een Engelse ronde aansluiting voor elektriciteit wat snel was opgelost door de technische dienst. Buffet in restaurant was er met voldoende keuze maar niemand was er vriendelijk. Wat we niet gewoon waren de voorbije dagen tussen colombo en Sigirya. Geen goede morgen, geen welkom bij het diner ... Denk dat het management hier eens moet herbekeken worden want het ligt zeker niet aan de medewerkers...

We stayed at Fresco Hotel and everything was just perfect! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely attentive. They kindly allowed us a late check-out at 3:00 PM, which was very convenient. At breakfast, I asked for some extra fresh cucumber and tomato, and they happily prepared it for me. As a lovely gesture, we were also gifted two packs of tea when we checked out. Thank you to the whole team for the warm hospitality — we truly felt at home! Highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

I’ve stayed in this hotel for two nights and I find the location was really nice. Rooms are very big and have a little balcony facing the jungle (a bigger one facing the pool but not that fascinating as the jungle one!). Staff is friendly. Food is very good, especially the express one made in front of you! Lot’s of choice
