Hotels with Breakfast in Sigiriya

The hotel is located around 10 minutes from the famous Sigiriya citadel. The hotel’s pool and the main lobby area including the bar overlook the sigiriya citadel (Sigiriya rock), making it one of the best views of the famous rock. Further the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery. Hotel staff are professional and also “extremely” friendly. They are a “true example of island’s hospitality”. The pool and the bar area are the best places to relax. Room service, laundry service and reception were really responsive and always available. Hotel rooms are of single category but some rooms need more attention in maintaining, especially the room that was given (Room 41). The room looked kind of rundown. Yet, house keeping was commendable. Same time, food menu, and the restaurant should be improved as breakfast was almost same every morning, “french toast” was not really “french toast” at all and there was no refilling of certain food items (especially cut fruits) for late risers.

Garden-style hotel, with beautiful scenery and large rooms. There is also a welcome ceremony when arriving at the hotel. There are not many people staying at the hotel. The most funny thing is that from the lobby to the room, the bottle car cannot pass the path smoothly. At that time, the design was not thoughtful. The overall feeling is that this hotel is a relatively high-end hotel in the local area, which is good in all aspects, but remember to give a little more tip, otherwise you can just shake your face and show it to you

I went to the front desk to check in and couldn't find the order. I couldn't find the check-in voucher. I didn't know what the problem was. I waited for a long time and didn't arrange a room for us before continuing to confirm and verify. Ctrip communicated for a long time and still didn't see it They solved it. The service here is worrisome. I don't know what went wrong. After waiting for more than an hour, I finally arranged to stay first, and then I took the check-in form to sign! Breakfast is ordered, English or Sri Lankan. There are supermarkets and restaurants around the hotel, but it is only a slow order to order food here. I ordered a burger and waited for more than an hour. It was not delicious😓

The very warm and thoughtful service and rich breakfast will make you unbelievable that this is a great experience provided by a homestay! The wooden house in the tropical jungle is surrounded by the sound of birds and you can enjoy nature to your heart's content. The swings and hammocks at the door allow people to play as soon as possible. The sign at the door is not very obvious. There are several restaurants around, but I didn't find any restaurants that I was interested in.

The hotel is very close to Lion Rock. You can see Lion Rock from the swimming pool, and the entire hotel is spread among towering woods with towering ancient trees. The environment is comfortable. There is a pool outside the door of each room, which is also a feature, but there are mosquitoes🦟. The food in the hotel is, well, edible. If possible, it is recommended to eat at the restaurant street 500 meters away. There are many excellent choices. Service, if the tip is big enough. Here, the front desk staff is very aggressive in not giving change. Although this number is not a big deal for tourists, I feel very different when I tip and when my change is deducted. Maybe because skin color is less popular. Because this is a Western world? have no idea.

After the Lion Rock came out, the hotel was quite remote. I felt that I had walked through a hotel in the wilderness. I didn’t dare to leave the hotel door at night. The room was large and quiet. The place to eat was at the pool, breakfast and dinner were at The hotel solved it, there were not many varieties, and there was no problem in eating. When I left, I found a piece of clothing falling in the hotel and called to contact me. I said that I would go to Colombo three days later and let the hotel express to the Colombo Hotel. I promised very well. During the period, I repeatedly asked if I had no problem, but I still didn’t receive it in the hotel three days later. I called and said that I hadn’t sent it yet, so that I finally didn’t receive the clothes when I left Sri Lanka. It’s also a pity~

Wow! What a fantastic place owner by a lovely Siri Lankan couple with a super well trained and friendly staff that always go above and beyond, rooms open up to a garden with the Lion Rock right in front of you. They also organised our pick up at the airport with a private driver Pudubu and then again to Kandy, all worked smoothly. Another big highlight is the food, the restaurant is possibly the best in the entire region, the curry and rice is an absolute must have! The waiters in the restaurant were also amazing and really looked after us! We had a 1 year old baby, and shes never been so spoiled in her life, what a team! Do yourself a favour and stay here! Had 2 nights there, nice view, yummy dinners and breakfasts, cool co-owner, and spacious rooms. Even though we had a huge thunderstorm and blackout during our stay, we fully enjoyed this hotel. We got a free late check-out from the owner, which was perfect bonus for us. The only problem we had is that the toilet washlet did not work in our bathroom. I am sure that it will be fixed soon. Therefore, I would give 4.5 stars for this hotel. One of the best in SL for us. Well done!

Flower Garden Eco Village is one of the best hotels to stay in Sigiriya. It has the most spectacular environment. Hotel rooms are spacious and very clean. Food is also good and they have very friendly staff and value for money would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The place is peaceful and very well organised, the chef and team of staff exceptionally helpful and eager to please.
