Othonas Apartments

The Othonas apartments are exceptional. Telis and Cristiana are the most welcoming family, and the apartments are spotless. The rooms are really comfortable and have everything you need. The pool and garden area is immaculate. The whole experience is just the best. You leave as family. The centre of Sidari is only a short walk away. Can't wait to return!!

from the moment you arrive you know you have made a great choice, Telis and his wife Christiana are so kind and and helpful, the rooms are spotless and well maintained, the bed comfort is something to behold, never slept on a better mattress whilst in Greece ! The pool area is great with comfy sun loungers and a convenient pool bar, the pool is a good size and very very clean. All in all you will hard pushed to find a better place to stay.

This was the first holiday we have ever felt the need to move accommodation & felt it was completely justified. We went here the 1st week in June for 1 week, a family of 5 in a 2 bedroomed apartment. The apartments are spotlessly clean, grounds attractive & extremely well maintained along with pool & guest areas. We arrived late in the evening talis met us & went through housekeeping etc & advised us we were the only guests he had for at least 4 days, then left us on site. The next day we decided to stay around the pool. Talis was on site & around in the morning, we decided to eat in his snack bar for lunch & went, sat, ready to order, he took the drink order, made the drinks then announced he was going to fetch his son just down the road & would be back very shortly. 11/2 hours later he returned & finally decided to ask us after being Back about half an hour what we wanted to eat! My children were starving at this point. A short while later my husband brought a cup of tea down from our apartment to have at the side of his lounger (I will say we have done this on every single holiday we have ever gone self catering on without any issue at all) talis came over and told my husband in no uncertain terms this was unacceptable, bearing in mind we are the ONLY people staying!! What was even more insulting was that when my husband joined the children in the pool abit later on, talis came over whilst my husband was not near the lounger to check the mug to see if he had made another!!!! At this point we were starting to feel uncomfortable, then a further incident, when I moved my sun lounger abit later on in the afternoon, the front leg of the lounger folded underneath itself (which some types do!!) and talis literally came running over, nearly knocking me out of the way muttering “damage, damage”, I had already unfolded the leg back & I stated to him it was fine & no issue, no concern over his guest I might add, just the lounger!!! At this point the decision was pretty much made to move, we have never felt so uncomfortable ever to be honest. This is not to mention that his wife had also arrived & they both began faffing with the canopy’s on the day beds, my daughter was actually on one at the time revising for her mock exams quietly, she got up & moved as they were literally doing all this whilst she was on it! Why it couldn’t wait until guests are not using it I do not know??? Again, we are the only guests present!! I will also bring attention to a previous review on here by a guest that involved an incident with towels getting cream on, in the apartment was a sign, strategically placed exactly where you sit on the toilet directly infront of you, threatening charges made if towels are not respected. What I will say is this, I can relate to the previous review and how the guests were made to feel & for that reason I feel it is relevant to mention it here. Absolute gem of a place and would 100% recommend to my family and friends. First off, Telis is outstanding, super friendly and so helpful. He looked after us from the moment we stepped off our transfer and throughout our holiday stay. He works so hard looking after all the guests to keeping the the complex in tip top condition. He's the heart of the place. Christina was super helpful when we booked. Her prompt replies made everything so easy. Even recommending the transfers to and from the airport. The complex is spotless clean, family friendly, very safe and extremely beautiful. Trees, flowers and shrubs are in abundance. There's only 7 units in the complex so it's never too busy. We always got a sunbed regardless of the time we went to the pool. The bar is opened late and Telis makes the nicest cocktails. The food is lovely. Perfect for those lazy days relaxing by the pool. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and it was fabulous. The 4 studios are on the ground floor and the 2, two bedroom apartments on the I 1st floor. We had 2 balconies so got the sun the whole day. We didn't use the air-conditioning as we had a lovely breeze and the weather wasn't too hot, late 20's. Its cleaned everyday and new towels are provided if you need them. The location is perfect. 5 mins walk one direction to Sidari ***** and 2 mins the other way to a big supermarket. There's also a small shop across the road too. The road going to the ***** can be busy so I would recommend crossing the road. and follow the sign for "Hotel Sidar". Just follow that road to the beach. It's maybe a couple of mins longer but easier than walking on the main road. Overall it was a perfect stay and we'll definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff in Othonas apartments

From start to finish Telis & Christiana couldn’t be more helpful and friendly, the apartments are spotless as is the rest of the property, The apartments are located just far away enough from Sidari centre to enjoy peace and quiet all day and evenings, some of the best restaurants are located close to Othanos. The pool and surrounding area are very well maintained and having some of the best sun lounger’s and four poster lounger’s in Sidari, Ps the strawberry mojitos are the best !!!!

We found this pool bar near the start of the holiday and we were so glad we did. The pool was always quiet and there were excellent sun beds as well as indoor shaded seating. The place was immaculately clean and we could not have found a more friendly owner anywhere. He offered excellent quality snacks as well as a range of soft drinks including smoothies and the cocktails in offer were full of fruit and probably the best cocktails we have ever had. On our last day we had to leave our villa 9 hours before our flight and he offered to store our cases for us so that we could have a last wander in town and then offered us use of his courtesy room to shower and prepare for our journey home after an afternoon in the pool. I could not recommend anywhere more highly and if I return to Corfu, I will definitely look to book one of his apartments. Thank you so much for your outstanding welcome and hospitality.
