Christakis

Just returned from a two week stay at this hotel, I can only say I would never return to Christakis, the owners are lovely, and friendly, but, this cant be said for the bar manager Alexander who seems to have a split personality, nice one minute and shouting at everyone the next. From day 1 she seemed to have an issue with everything, breakfast on our first day seemed to tip her over the edge due to not having anyone to help her, she hushed the children playing in the pool from the start, on our second day she handed me a note asking that I "keep my lovely children quiet for the rest of our stay", not sure how many kids have a volume button (mine don't), I spoke to a lovely couple on our row of rooms who were disgusted at the note we had been given and agreed that "kids need to play on holiday" we were a family of 12 and had a 9 year old child with disabilities in our group, we made both Jet 2 and the hotel aware of this before we arrived, my daughter was distraught, she felt the request was aimed at her daughter. we were not the only family who were told to be quiet, when any new guests with children arrived she hushed them too. After speaking with other guests we were informed that she was also rude to them, so much so, that they chose to go elsewhere for the day rather than be insulted by this lady. I contacted Jet 2 who sent a Rep later on the day of the incident, we still had 12 days left of our holiday and we were concerned where we stood at this point, we could not remain at he hotel if we had to keep the children quiet for the remainder of our stay, they were brilliant and cleared up all of our issues. We chose this hotel because we have been to Sidari on a couple of occasions and had family and friends staying in the hotel when Nicos ran the bar, we spent many nights at Christaki's during our first visits and always been made to feel welcome even though we were not staying at the hotel. We had a lovely time in spite of the problem created during our first couple of days.

We go to sidari twice a year and stay in different hotels but always return to the Christakis as we think it’s the best hotel in sidari it’s family run and they always accommodate our requests also do a fantastic breakfast we feel so relaxed here and will always return to the Christakis

Had to find a hotel last minute as original hotel didn’t have our booking. Really glad we chose here, staff are very friendly especially Katherine Alexandra (bar lady) Food and drink very good prices. Room large and clean, though cleaning only gets done about every three days, bins get emptied every day. Pool area could do with a bit of an update, missing rung on pool ladder and some of the sun beds could do with changing. Location great as short walk to both canal d’amour and the *****. We will definitely return to this hotel 🥰

We first arrived and before we went requested a ground floor as my sister is quite bad with arthritis not a chance would they give us one , he said “ I Carnt give you wat I haven’t got “ but in a very rude way , he gave us top floor . We chose this hotel because of all the good reviews but this was the owners before these owners now . Our room was very spacious and clean but the rest of the 2 weeks we had to clean it ourselves because no one else did , I had to steel clean towels from the cleaners cupboard because ours didn’t get changed for 3 days , we thought the staff was just rude to us for some reason until our 2nd week families came into the hotel , the bar lady told the family to keep their children quiet and not to make a noise whilst playing in the pool it was unbelievable couldn’t believe my ears when I heard them shout at them to play quiet . Every one in the hotel was absolutely amazing it’s just a shame the owners and staff were so rude ,, it’s my first time in Greece and this christakis hotel has put me off going back , first time ever I wasn’t bothered about going home and I’m 68 and been to a few places round the world but this was my worst experience ever , I could go on and on about it but I think and hope you get the gist of wat I’m trying to tell you , I just so pleased that all the customers in the hotel was amazing people and stuck together , so thanks people

Our second visit to the Three Brothers and just as good as the first. Location in Sidari is superb and overall this is a great hotel. What makes this hotel is the fabulous staff who cannot do enough for you. Massive shout out to Melanie, Pauline, Alex, Chris and Kostas. They all go out of their way to make sure that your stay is first class. So looking forward to our third return.

I stayed at the Christakis in June 24 and also June this year. Fantastic hotel, great friendly staff, great location. The rooms are clean and have regular maid service. Nice choice of breakfast plus a good choice menu during the day. Totally recommend it.
