This place has a Greek rustic charm, its budget and yes the rooms are basic, but they have all you need. The reviews saying avoid are simply people who expected 5 star when this is clearly a basic accomodation. The hotel staff are fab, the bar is brill and the hotel has a lovely clean pool, pool table and resident kittys! If you love greece and want a chilled holiday, book this place. If you want high standards and entertainment then dont! Simples!

Just back from a week at Koursaros apartments. On arrival we paid our room tax and we were asked if we wanted to pay for air con and the weekly BBQ night, we decided to wait and see if needed/wanted to do….there was no pressure. The rooms are very basic but they are only really for sleeping in, they would however benefit from being painted white rather than the dingy beige they currently are as they are quite dark inside even with lights on in the day. The cleaners came in twice and changed beds and towels in a week. The apartments are less than 5 minutes walk to the start of the *****, you can hear music from there at night but it’s not awful. Sidari is not somewhere I would return to as there are prettier places to visit in Corfu. Trips are reasonable in price,Corfu town is a must as it is so pretty and lovely old cobblestone streets. There are plenty of lovely places to eat, we only had 1 bad meal in the week and that was from a British run restaurant in sidari Mosquitoes are a complete nightmare as are wasps,I have never had as many bites as in Sidari and I used repellant

When we arrived at apartments the lady was friendly we was shown to our room which was very small and basic . The light was very dull . The shower was so small the curtain stuck to you when using it . We noticed on using it there was a smell of sulphur coming up from the drains . Also upon flushing the toilet it leaked around bottom so you had smell of pee keep coming up . The bed was very comfortable . The cleaners was great with changing the towels and linen. There was no entertainment at these apartments the whole 7 nights we stayed here . Tui should not advertise this place . I will not be returning . The pool was very slippery also around the sunbeds there was cat poo so the smell from the there and grass was rife .

Just returned from a 2 week holiday for the first time in Greece. We didn't know what to expect after reading other reviews but it was perfect for what we wanted. The room was basic but more than enough space. Very clean cleaners changed beds and towels every other day. Pool was lovely bar area lovely and staff all very friendly and accommodating. Kostas the manager did his up most to sort us out with a ground floor room due to us having a wheelchair and tui messing up. Overall a brilliant time and can't wait to return

We arrived quite late, but we're greeted by the lovely lady who checked us in quickly and explained everything well, we had a 2 bed apartment and it was perfect, ground floor overlooking the pool, very spacious, clean and well equipped, agreed the shower is a bit of a challenge but its Greece and thats expected! The beds were so comfy, clean towels every other day.The ***** is a short distance away which made for a peaceful stay, we really enjoyed our holiday and I will definitely return and recommend

I had read reviews saying that the owner could be a bit of a grump so was determined to be friendly and upbeat with him from the start. It didn’t work. A nice welcome from the lovely lady who works there but the owner barely looked at us and was more interested in us paying the tourist tax and aircon (was charged for 3x units in a 2 bed apartment - save yourself some money - just have them in the bedrooms!) so this was about €185. Quite a chunk of our spending money! Were shown up to our apartment which was 2 bed with a large seating area and a great long balcony. The sheets on the beds were clean but the quilted blankets provided were marked and dirty. In the room my daughters used two drawers were full of tiny elastic hair ties and lots of hair (!) and the bedside table had a used Vape in so I spent my first ten mins wiping all the drawers out. This made us wary about the general cleanliness and other than the fridge and a couple of glasses we didn’t use the kitchen. Very dated and worn. There were some unidentifiable brown/ red streaks on the walls in the bedroom and lounge which were not pleasant. The bedding was changed once during our stay and the towels twice. I would recommend emptying your own toilet bin as this was only done twice in 7 days. The mattresses were AMAZING, very comfortable and the mosquito netting on the doors is a really good touch, as is the airer on the balcony. On the day we arrived, Friday, the pool was pristine, but by the middle of the following week was very cloudy and I didn’t want to risk the kids being ill so we used the pool and bar at Lagoon next door which was far superior and kept immaculate. A big thank you to the wonderful female staff at Koursaros but the male owner didn’t improve, a misery all week. Do yourself a favour and book Lagoon instead! .

We arrived at the complex, a lady grunted and pointed round to the other side of the pool bar. Once round there we noticed this was the reception area. After around 10 mins a man came to check us in. I assume this was Mr Koursaros, but he never gave us his name so I have no idea. Paid for the air con - €8 a night, the room tax €1.50 per night, the safety deposit box €10 for the fortnight and then €36 which I didn’t notice he had added in until we got into the room and looked at the adding up he had done. When I asked him what that charge was for - the bbq on Weds for 2 people. I didn’t want to go to the bbq on Weds but it seems it’s compulsory!! No refunds once booked on! The rooms are very small, not much room to move around. 2 single beds, both very creaky, suspect they won’t last much longer but I was surprisingly comfy. Only one pillow but it is very well stuffed so only one needed. Not enough storage for clothes etc, single wardrobe with 2 small drawers under and then a dressing table with one drawer under, have had to use the table and 2 stools to put clothes on so we could unpack our cases. Bathroom is tiny, water pressure in shower is ok but the sink isn’t great. Shower curtain spends most of the shower stuck to you which is so annoying! Toilet lid is taped up for some strange reason. We had a small terrace outside, with 2 washing lines, 2 chairs and a table. Lots of cats living around the hotel which is fine by me, I love cats, although I didn’t really want the present of a headless lizard that one left on our terrace!! Wi-Fi only works in the pool bar so make sure you have lots of data. Pool is very small, looks like soup - sort of a murky colour, definitely needs cleaning. We didn’t see it cleaned in the whole time we were there. Pool bar can be quite loud on bbq night or even worse karaoke night (my poor ears!) or whenever the bar is busy, music until late on. Thankfully the air con drowns the noise out. Mr Koursaros doesn’t like it when you don’t use the pool bar as that’s where the money is made. So expect glares, muttering and just him being miserable when he sees you - you get used to it! Tbh only the cleaner actually replied when we said morning, the rest of the staff ignored us the whole time, prob as we weren’t spending money with them. Bedding and towels only changed twice in the time we were there. The sheet I had on the bed was very starched, every time I moved it crinkled like a crisp packet - became a running joke by the end of the holiday. Location wise it’s not bad, about 10 min walk to middle of *****. Although in the heatwave we experienced it was more like a crawl than a walk!! Also a large supermarket around the corner. Would u stay here again? Definitely not!! I’m not brave enough or daft enough!

Arrived a couple of days ago and would recommend these apartments! Good quiet location, about 2 minutes walk from the supermarket and main road. Apartment is charming, not a new build but well decorated and spotlessly clean. Decent kitchenette with full sized fridge, hot plate, microwave, kettle, pots, pans, crockery etc. Small bathroom but well maintained and perfect for us. Kostas the manager is really nice and found him to be chilled out when we were paying the tourist tax, a very pleasant man. The staff are great, Nina, Voulla, Maria and the young lad who does the jobs around the complex. Lovely clean pool, perfect temperature. Lovely bar and cafe, we’ve eaten there a lot already and everything is delicious and pretty well priced. Sunbeds are plentiful and there’s none of that silly towels on sunbeds at dawn nonsense! I would recommend staying here and I will stay again!
