The hotel is located right in the center of Sibiu, in Piața Mare. The conditions were good, and the mattress was excellent. The reception staff were very helpful. The room was clean, as was the bathroom, which was well equipped, though a bit dark. Unfortunately, the room didn’t have a view of the square, but was situated at the back. There was a major issue with parking. The hotel only has four spots—three were occupied by guests, and the fourth by someone from outside. We had to look for parking nearby, which was very difficult, so you’ll need a lot of patience. Although the experience was okay overall, I would choose a different hotel in the same area next time.

The location is magnificient. The room are confortable. The minus is (1) they are cleaing the room daily (that is ok for towels for eco savings, but trash bin should be emptied) (2) for rooms with window on internal doesn't allow to get plenty of fresh air,

Poor. Location is the best feature of this hotel, by far. Needs maintenance and redecoration urgently. Staff are poorly trained and ill equipped to give advice about the local area. Hotel's cafe is OK, but staff need better training.

Great hotel, with a absolutly amazing location right in the center. Acces to the hotel might be a little difficult as cars dont have acces all the way to the entrance (no issue if you are younger). Staff was nice, the hotel has a elevator.

We stayed in Hotel Am Ring 2 nights in august 2022 and it was a pleasant experience. The first thing we saw when we entered the room was the view over Piața Sfatului. The room has large windows and you can enjoy the view from your bed. The rooms are clean, decorated in a classic style (furniture is a little too old). The hotel has an elevator. At the ground floor, in front of the hotel, they have a restaurant with a terrace where you can have a meal or only drink a coffee. The staff was friendly and nice. Because the location if the hotel (in Piata Sfatului whitch has a pedestrian access) they don't have a parking spot. But you can find parking spots around the corner, at the public parking on the streets. Be carefull, you need to pay for the parking via sms. Overall, we had a really nice stay at Hotel Am Ring and we recommend it.

Albergo centralissimo, offre stanze ampie con bagni altrettanti ampi. C’è poca funzionalità come al solito (poche prese e pochi piani di appoggio), ma le camere sono silenziosissime, l’albergo è centrale, la Wi-Fi funziona benissimo, ci sono l’ascensore e la possibilità di parcheggiare gratuitamente a pochi passi. Se le camere fossero leggermente più funzionali e venisse fornita pure la colazione, sarebbe perfetto. Tenere presente che la reception si trova sue vetrine più avanti e che vi è l’ascensore (il che aiuta).

Hemos comido en la terraza que hay justo en la Plaza Mayor con bonitas vistas. La comida muy buena, servicio rápido y precios ajustados. El camarero amable, resolviéndoos dudas y explicando puntos turisticos. Recomendado para toda la familia, parejas y amigos.

We had Room 103 which was a lovely large room with a huge comfortable bed and fantastic view of the Square. The air conditioning worked well. The bed was comfortable. We requested extra pillows and these were supplied within a few minutes of asking. The room had a mini fridge with water and soft drinks which were payable on check out. The shower was large with plenty of hot water. There is no kettle in the room which was the only thing we felt it lacked but managed without as we were out and about on the 3 nights we stayed. It was a perfect location especially as it was hot while we visited so it was good to be close to the old city centre. Breakfast was extra which we ate each morning at the Amber Caffe attached to the hotel for 45 lei. On booking the hotel I contacted them to ask if they did airport transfers, which they did, so saved us a taxi or bus. The airport is only 10 minutes away. Sibiu is a beautiful city and it was good to be there during the theatre festival with lots of street entertainment.
