The hotel was clean and free of clutter. The décor was modern and tasteful. I found the front desk very courteous and welcoming. The meet and greet hour was good in the sense that it gave us a free coupon for either a clam chowder and drink. The exterior was clean and free of garbage. The rooms were large and spacious. The soaps and shampoos were dispensed from a large bottle and they smelled good, if you like lemon grass sage. I will definitely go back to this hotel if I am ever in Bellingham again.

The staff were great. Room was very nice except for the coffee maker. Why on earth do hotels put coffee makers in their rooms which are nothing more than a way to heat water and poor over instant coffee. If a coffee maker is supplied, it should make real coffee, not instant coffee. Lack of a shuttle in a city that is anti-uber/lyft is alway a negative. The taxi took about an hour to pick us up at the airport and on our return trip to Bellingham, the train station. Seriously, supply a shuttle like almost every other Springhill Suites in the country does. Breakfast was typical of most hotels in this range. Nothing exciting but adequate. Points lost for lack of a shuttle and dismal ”coffee maker”.
SSafari58870134291Check in was quick and the desk staff were pleasant. The room was decent sized and appeared to be clean. The bed was clean and comfortable There was good lighting and plenty of outlets The AC worked well The room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, but no safe The room had a decent size TV with good channel selections They had a pretty decent gym with free weights There was a pool and hot tub which appeared to be clean except for ****** slamming doors at 0500 the hotel was quiet. Breakfast fine eggs, rolls, yogurt, and cinnamon rolls. There were some good restaurants nearby, one within walking distance overall it was a pleasant stay
CClarkAmberThis was a very nice hotel in a great area. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
Great breakfast with eggs and sausage and potatoes and biscuits and gravy and all sorts or food.
Also 24 hour access to juice and coffee and tea.
They even have a little store at the front with some food and frozen meals and whatnot.
The pool was obviously not used very often or something. It just looked a bit forgotten but we still enjoyed it so 5 stars all around
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and hotel are dated and did not feel quality. A few issues with the room, dresser drawers missing knobs, air conditioners would stop producing cold air overnight, set to 70 and would wake up with the room temperature at 78. The room was humid throughout. The overall temperature of the hotel in the hallways was in the mid to high 70’s and humid since the pool is in the interior of the building with the rooms a square around them on all floors. The fixtures to hold the shower shower in our room were broth broke when we arrived in our room. We let management know and they sent maintenance up right away to fix one of them. The fix caused a new issue where the shower head was not sealed tightly so water was spraying into the rest of the bathroom.
GGuest UserWe were pleased with our stay in both rooms 316 and 317. 316 had a big king bed, while 317 had 2 queens. We missed breakfast all 3 days (only served until 9am) but had a comfortable stay. We walked 15 min to enjoy the breweries and restaurants downtown and took an inexpensive Uber to the other sights we wanted to see. It was lovely having Woods coffee adjacent. We will return!
GGuest UserBefore arrival i requested a double bed room for two nights. Upon arrival I was told my room was double booked and I had to get a single bed room for 4 people. Then magically a two bed room was available after complaining. I was then told that my card had to be ran again because I was not given the two nights requested. Upon entry of the room It was the most disgusting establishment I’ve ever encountered, hair clogging the tub with others peoples Bodily fluid, dirt and grime, paper of some sort all in the drain. I took video of the drain during the process because my time was very limited I was there for a wedding that my whole family was staying in the hotel and we were all from out of town and I live over six hours away and was very tired and needed to shower so I had no choice but to unclog the drain myself and in the process some thing in the drain cut the side of my finger as shown in the video the tool that I was using was not even nowhere near able to cut the side of my finger. I showed the video to the young man at the front desk. He viewed it and made notes. I’ve complained everyday since checking in until today which is almost a whole week later. Still no one has got in touch with me about my complaints. Customer service is a whole issue as well. Don’t know if it was because I am a BLACK TRANS MALE The older female that ran the front during the day time was rude and non emphatic as well as unapologetic to my complaints. I’ve never been treated so poorly. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone let alone stay here ever again. And of course it won’t allow me to add the video.
CCPXAThe environment is elegant and comfortable, the facilities are complete and comfortable, clean and tidy, the price is reasonable, the service staff is amiable, the service is thoughtful, and it is worth paying attention!
GGuest UserEveryone was polite. The room had a fridge and microwave. It was clean outside, and the room was also. It is close to a lot of places to eat and visit. The freeway is also close by the hotel. We will stay again as we travel back home
