The actual place covers everything. Good location, next to the main road, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The room's security system is very tight. All employees provide good service.
But about breakfast There is too much emphasis on local food. There is no American Breakfast besides bread/tea, milk, coffee. We saw a foreign couple sitting and eating. We thought, will they be able to eat it? We are people from the central region. Still can only eat fried pork with steamed rice. And bread. We think that sometimes it's about food. There may be some switching.

Large rooms, big beds, good cleanliness, lots of parking, shady air, breakfast with toast and hot coffee. There is an elevator. not bad! It’s quick to take a taxi to the airport in transit! There is not much to eat at the Wanlun night market, so I recommend not going there. There are also high prices for tuk-tuks. Locals charge 20 baht per person. Don't give it to the cub!

Only stayed for one night. The room was spacious..you can tell it’s not new n the design/ furniture gives dormitory. The ac worked well n there were sockets next to our beds so we can charge our phones..Water pressure very high ( which we loved). No toothbrush provided…Maybe there was a pet shop downstairs, but for the whole night there was animal sounds. Awwm 🤔 7/11 and transport bus station close by ( so u can schedule bus to the islands). Helpful staff.

At first, I was impressed from recerption. The service was very good. I spoke beautifully. Informing details clearly. 10/10. The room is clean. There is a cafe in the hotel. Out of the hotel door, cross the road and find a flea market, but I'm not sure if there's a flea market every day. There's a lot of food. There are shops, 7-Eleven, and a drug store. I'll definitely use the service again.

I arrived 2 hours earlier and was checked in immediately, for which I thank you very much. The room has panoramic windows, light and beautiful.
However:
Of the obvious disadvantages - the location is far from any infrastructure and VERY dirty. There was someone else's black hair on the bed linen, a lot of it. The linen did not leave a feeling of freshness, as if it had not been changed since the last guest.
The reception staff does not speak English.

Everyting was perfect but upon arrival as we checked in at noon , the lady at reception unfriendly and not made the resevation on system for us yet even we booked on trip.com one day before and informed us that we have no reservation yet as we let her khow double check on system. Then we booked the room include breakfast but she never informed us about the breakfast menu , time till night we met other lady at reception and asked her about the brwakfast menu and time.
In the morning time as we met the staff at the restaurant but no smile and the mood on their face look like we disturbance them. We apologise if we expect that thing from the the people who did service job.

RRaisaRWe stayed at this hotel for one night. Deposit for the key is 100 baht, nothing else is needed. It cost about 1100₽, for this price everything is fine. For a cheap overnight stay before a flight or a ferry, it is good. Cleanliness is not bad. Two bottles of water in the fridge 👍🏻 The air conditioner works, fridge, hot water available

KKylalaWe stayed here to be close to the airport, so location was not great. Really your quite in trouble if your hungry, so make sure to hit up the surrounding malls before they close at 9pm. Or your only option will be 711 (which isn’t terrible!?)
We were reluctant to stay here after a bad experience with B2 Ao Nang. But this one was MUCH better ran!! Cleaner , and the staff was so wonderful! It is a great bang for your buck. Would definitely stay here again. Only wish they had a gym!

DDin McgregorThis hotel is good for just spending one night and going further along the route, in fact the hotel looks outdated, in my room 402 there were some old dried splashes on the walls and furniture that didn't look very good, the shower room was very small, but this hotel matches the price per night and you can have free coffee at the buffet on the first floor

AAnthonyJust stopped for one night during a road trip down south, very good value, I had read reviews were people had complained about the lifts, we had.no problems, perhaps they've resolved any issues, this is a budget hotel and as such don't expect 4star quality, room bedding shower all clean, fridge and kettle 👍
Only problem I had was they didn't accept cash at the snack/drinks counter, i find that particularly annoying for any business, but hey my girlfriend paid with her phone, win for me I suppose 🤣 good location and plenty of paring spaces

RRyan Cooper 王睿安The other comments were correct. There is a strange smell that comes from the bathroom, but that’s to be expected from an older building with old sewage pipes. The place is fairly nice but it’s a little noisy because it’s right next to one of her major highway/streets that goes through the town. Also i think the ladies staying there are a little loud at times as well. Overall though not such a bad place.

AAnonymous UserThe pool is beautiful, makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. The hotel is a little unloved/dated but the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. Aside from a Lotus shopping mall across the road and a bigger Central Plaza Mall five mins drive away there isn’t really much else around but as we were only here for one night before a transfer to Khao Sok it was fine and at £17 a night couldn’t really complain. Found an amazing restaurant a couple of minutes walk away and sat outside and had ‘hot pot’ with some local residents. The breakfast was the only downside, the food was left uncovered so it was cold and had flies around it.

DDGI have been staying at Comet Hotel Suratthani every time I come to Surat Thani over the last two years. While the location may not be the most desirable, the hotel is worth it. Service has always been efficient, courteous and professional. Rooms are a good size and the beds and pillows very comfortable. Bathrooms are large and the overall cleanliness is very good. The hotel has some noticeable wear and tear since it’s opening and I hope the owners will maintain it well. Another positive thing is the parking, which is covered, and welcomes motorcycles, a rare and welcome aspect for ky travelling. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserA very reasonably priced hotel with clean and comfy room and small balcony. The location is just over the bridge the other side from the main town but it is quite peaceful and very easy to access the night markets. I would recommend renting a moped or even a bicycle would be fine. If you visit, walk down to the waterfront near the crossroads bar and you might see a big monitor lizard in the tree. Also I recommend a little trip to Koh Lamphu which is a little island you can go around on foot or bicycle. Next to the entrance there is a little food market which opens at night. A perfect way to experience a bit of local Thai life.
