I don’t know anyone that couldn’t love this place! This was our last accommodation on our Philippines backpacking trip – a little treat to finish. We were recommended to visit Siquijor by a local we had met in Puerto Princesa, so we thought, why not! Not only did this become my favourite island, but I believe a huge part of this is because of Infinity Heights. We were super lucky to visit during a quiet period (start of the rainy season), but we’ve created memories here we will never forget. Firstly, we were beautifully greeted by the front of house staff, whom, I promise, will already make your stay so perfect as they made sure our guest experience was the highest it can be. Nothing was ever too big of an ask. If you love dogs, there are a couple of onsite adorable dogs who are very well behaved and respect your space, but also love a cuddle! The room (we stayed in room 10), was outstanding. It was clean, lovely, modern but simple décor, a big balcony with views that honestly took my breath away. For me, it felt like a place I could easily call my home. Speaking of home, the owners live onsite and came over to chat with us. Gary and Christy are the sweetest people, it’s very clear they take a lot of pride in their home and their business. As owners, I feel they tick every box. We’ve felt so cared about and wanted here, and we’ve not come spending money. It’s just been about getting to know each other. They’ve put a lot of hard work into the resort, and you can see through their staff how happy and attentive everyone is who works here. They gave us local insight knowledge and even treated us to a night of music! Christy performed some well-known songs, whilst Gary, my partner and two other guests assisted in the mini band – it’s a night that can’t be explained, as it was an unexpected taste of paradise. We felt 100% happy, content and relaxed, it’s an evening we will always cherish. We stayed after the music finished and continued chatting to Christy and Gary about everyday things and cultural differences. We wanted them to know how good their staff was as well, and they just seemed so heart warmingly proud of the business they have created. The last thing to mention is the views and the pool. JUST WOW. I wish we had more time here (or just lived here). We spent a whole evening in the pool watching the sun set over views that you can’t beat. It was emotionally beautiful, and we both miss this place so much!

LOVED our stay at Coco Grove. We are not fans of large resorts, but this is an exception. Even though our first 2 nights the resort was full we did not feel like there were lots of people. The property is huge, villas and rooms are spread out amidst lush tropical foliage, there are 3 different & good sized pools in different areas. 3 food outlets. A decently equipped gym. A nice gift shop that doesn’t mark up the items exorbitantly—we found it very reasonable. Very well planned resort. Staff are just lovely—very sweet, attentive and helpful. Everyone. From drivers, front office, restaurants, spa, cleaners, gardeners, guards, lifeguards—all really just genuinely nice. I greatly appreciate how the staff are kind to animals too. Went to the Spa 3 nights for massage—ask for joy—I had one of the best aromatherapy massages from her (2 nights—my first and last; the masseuse I had the other night was mediocre). And if you prefer hard massages ask for a Swedish deep tissue massage from Fretzel, she was excellent according to my partner. We stayed in an ocean villa. Very spacious with a good sized bathroom with separate shower and bath tub too. There are also shelves and closets to hang clothes. Rooms are cleaned daily which we appreciate (if you don’t want yours cleaned daily let them know when you check in). It was wonderful having the beach & sea “at your doorstep.” Our stay was very peaceful. The Sanctuary Villas are at the opposite end, near the spa and in a bit more private area, we’ll probably request that for next time. there isn’t anything wrong with the Ocean villas (which are near the dive center) it’s just there was more foot traffic in the area than in the sanctuary. Internet is good in some areas and weak to none in others. Food is ok, portions are good. Decent selection for breakfast. For vegetarians the vegetable curry in Salanandas is good, Thai inspired better than at the Beach Bar. The fries and the stir fried vermicelli noodles w vegetables at the Beach Bar were better than the fries and the vegetarian pancit (these noodles were thicker) at Salamandas. Don’t forget to say hi to Macky, their rescued Brazilian Parrot We’ll be back, coco Grove is on our list of favorite beach resorts!

We want to thank the owner Gri and staff at this lovely hotel! The warmth and welcome we felt was phenomenal, as well as the service. The highlight of the stay was the gorgeous pool and view. We loved beginning and ending each day with a dip and hearing the waves crash as we fell asleep. Magical! The flowers and trees on the property are stunning and the rooms are comfortable and reasonably appointed. The beds are firm by western standards but being that we are Americans who live in China, we love this for our backs!
We ate breakfast every morning and one of our dinners in the hotel restaurant and it is very high quality, tasty food. I especially loved the organic spinach and homemade dumplings, as well as the mapo tofu- YUM! The fresh fruit each day was crisp and delicious and I LOVED drinking coconuts by the pool. Thank you, Cherry! Coffee is for purchase at the restaurant, not in the rooms.
The location of the hotel is quite remote, meaning it is peaceful and quiet. I recommend you arrange transportation for excursions in advance each day, or rent a scooter, as waiting for a tricycle can be long. We were told that you can swim and snorkel in front of the hotel but the tide was too low when we tried one day. However, there are snorkels and kayaks for use in the hotel!
The hotel is still developing some of the water activities available. The pool is deep enough for diving courses, but check to make sure they are ready, as the gear is still in order as of Oct 2023. There are snorkel and dive spots a short ride away, however, and you can ask for help at the desk to book a tour or connect with a dive shop.

It feels like a very new resort, next to the beach in the south and a well-known local bar in the west. The environment in the room is super good and the rooms are very large. Each room has a set of outdoor tables and chairs, clothes rails, a swimming pool in the middle. , And you can watch the sunset. It's just that the Internet isn't working. The entire Siquijor Island hotel, even if the coco network is not good, collapses.

The hotel has a beach, the room has a pot and induction cooker, you can make something to eat yourself, the front beach room is very good, and the triple room in the back room is a big bed, which is a bit embarrassing

A very nice place to stay at! Super friendly and helpful owner and staff. Great menu with a wide variety and very tasty food. A bit remote as it is the most southern resort on Siquijor, and not all tricycle drivers want to drive there, but we still managed and we enjoyed every minute of our 10 day stay. If the resort had had a soft sandy beach, it would have been perfect, but the snorkelling and the beautiful pool made up for it 100%. Wow! A great experience overall!

Outstanding
NnickabroadMy wife and I visited Kalachuchi in March with our little dog . The resort was perfect for us as we like isolation and to get away from the crowds . The owner Marcel is a gem and looks after his guests as do the staff . Attention to detail is everywhere . We and some other guests nearly got stuck on the island because of the Covid 19 Virus lockdown , Marcel could not have done anymore than he did to help us all and keep us informed of the situation and was graceful enough to return money for our room as we had top cut short our break . I look forward to visiting again to have an uninterrupted break in this fantastic resort .
SSergiy8888 UriyhykNice and helpful staff. The hotel has a cozy and well-kept area. Lots of beautiful objects for photos. We recommend for accommodation.
AAnonymous UserIt's the third time I've stayed here, conveniently located a few kilometres from Siquijor, Dumanhog is nice and quiet overnight, the staff are friendly and all speak English if you can't speak Bisaya or Tagalog,we like it because of it central location to our friends and family on the island, if you need help to hire a motorcycle or get a taxi the staff will be able to help you,we had a great stay and intend to be back again.
GGuest UserBeen to Siquijor 1st week of December 2022 and checked-in at Isla Inn. I really choose this place because it is near the port and the staff of this inn immediately answered all my inquiries regarding the place and the tourist spots to visit. They really have been helpful since then. My accommodations include free pick-up and drop-off at the port. The room given to me was spacious and complete with the amenities that goes with it. The aircon was cool. The CR was very clean too. It has a hot and cold shower. Value for money is great. They also have a restaurant which was also spacious and the food on their menu was good and for sharing. It has Korean menu too. It was also of large proportions and just right for the price. The staff also are friendly and really helpful and has a ready smile to their customers. They also offer tour services. The inn is really a great place for accommodation.
EElizaveta VThe hotel is located in a peaceful isolated place near the nice beach where you can get only if you stay in one of two hotel there or if you buy a ticket. The road goes through the woods so it is very quiet. You can grab a kayak at the hotel and explore the nearby empty beaches or do some snorkeling just in front of the hotel. The beach is located 3 min away, and there is a small rock with some places for jumping into the water, but the local officer said it is forbidden to swim and jump there.
There is a restaurant at the hotel, but it is quite pricey, the nearest place to eat is only bike or tricycle reachable. The luxe room is awesome, a lot of space and light, truly loved the big windows. Definitely recommend if you love quiet places and can drive a bike or a car.
9993megbStayed here recently and we loved it! After being scammed in Bohol our spirits were low but the staff here really picked us back up & made us feel really welcome and at home! They are lovely. The rooms are really clean and you're taken care of. Lazi is a small little town on the other side of the island far from the port. It's not very touristy at all, especially compared to San Juan. I would definitely recommend a stay here :)
CCarlBBPBungalow # 1 is certainly the best in the resort, situated in front of the beautifully designed palm garden with views of the beach and water. The large terrace with beautiful baskets and two tables invites to dream - from bathing in the sea. For unfortunately, there is rarely the possibility of swimming here. Even in the case of floods, this is hardly possible. A spacious room with large double bed, sufficient staining for the baggage, air conditioning and ventilator, broad window and slide door. A kitchen with refrigerator and water cooker; cups, glasses, water, coffee and tea are ready for this. The shower is large enough, hot water comes immediately. With no better alternatives we eat almost always here. The small selection of food is good and cheap. Unfortunately, the service is quite different, depending on the respective ladies. It often takes quite long to be observed, sometimes ordered came only on demand. A very strong dispute was particularly disturbing one afternoon when a Swedish owner's familiar shouting spread unrest in the neighboringalow. Then there was another police operation in the evening, when she had to leave the area with the ambulance. Price / performance was okay, for a ”Very good” it is not enough because of noise, lack of service and lack of swimming. Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant area.
GGuest UserI had the best time staying at mad monkey siquijor. Nelson was amazing and took the time to know everyone's name and treated everyone like a true friend. Definitely give this man a raise! He was a whole vibe! The facilities are cleaned daily and all of the staff is helpful making recommendations or helping to arrange transport. Rooms were very spacious with hot water, AC, and privacy curtains. Highly recommend if you're on the island. Shout out to Pablo the accountant too he and all of the staff make this place so special! Thanks again for everything!
GGuest UserWe stayed here for two weeks and really didn’t want to leave. Luki and Charlie were exceptional hosts . The new building was finished only 3 months before and it’s stunning. Swim up pool with spacious pleasant rooms . The pool pictured on their site had just been renovated and has a jacuzzi at one end. Charlie put the bubbles on every time we ventured in it. All the staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Even taking my sandals for a repair. Luki ordered transport for us at competitive rates and showed us the best massages places to go to. Luki and Charlie invited us to Lukis birthday party, it was beautiful and great fun . So kind of them. Breakfast at an extra cost was good value and plentiful. The new chef made delicious meals mostly traditional Filipino - we ate many time during our stay. Please give this place a chance it’s been a working progress and now the end is in sight. I had the best time ever here .
PPavelReception is not in obvious place, poor wi-fi and water supply. Some minor problems with interior. Balcony without any access to it. Otherwise, really good location, breakfast, surroundings. Not for a long stay IMHO
