Hulhumale Hotels with Shuttle Service

Great hotel! Just next to the beach, the beach is so beautiful, the hotel is very new, the bed is very comfortable, and it is very clean, everything in Maldives is so beautiful, it feels like being in paradise. The breakfast is very delicious and there are many types. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for vacation. Thank you for all team staffs. We are looking forward to come again.

We had a nice experience at this hotel, they were really warm n nice. Breakfast spread could be improved but for the price they r selling and the property being beach front I guess this is great. We were here for a quick transit to catch our flight as it would be longer if we transit directly from resort. Best part this hotel gives free to and fro transferd for free.

Overall, our stay was unpleasant. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out. When we entered the hotel they essentially made us feel that we were unwelcomed. No smile, no hello, nothing! I have never experienced this level of hospitality in my lifetime. Room size We had booked a ”Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View” (booked almost 1.5 months before) and it was supposed to be one of the best rooms in this hotel (2nd best to be precise). The room was tiny and couldn't even accommodate our luggage. Bed size It was supposed to be a ”large double bed” but it was tiny that we couldn't sleep well. We had 5 years old - already mentioned while booking. They could have simply rejected our booking by saying that the bed would not accommodate a kid. Bathroom and accessories It was again very small. There was nothing. No hand towel, soap, toothbrush, or sleepers. There was a shower gel and a shampoo. And some tiny lizards in the bathroom which was scary for my kid to use the washroom. I must mention that one of the staff was helpful in getting rid of one of those lizards we encountered and I had to shoo the rest of them away by myself. Pricing on Booking.com We paid 336$ for two nights on booking dot com and expected better rooms and services but the actual room cost which I got to know at the hotel was only 80$/night which explains why the services were not great. Booking dot com definitely fleeced us. You can directly reach out to the hotel to book the room if you're interested. Also, we had planned to spend two days in the city to explore after spending a few days on a private island. Though one day was enough to explore the city! Overall, it is a 2-star hotel and not recommended for a family. Good for solo travellers for a short stay (not more than a night). I would not recommend this hotel to a couple! The only positives were the sea view from the room and the location.

Unless I asked to exchange towels with fresh ones, they didn't do that. Moreover, unless I asked to give me free bottled water and complementary tea bags or coffee etc., they didn't give me. They never came to my room to clean and make a bed during my nine-day stay. If I asked to do whatever I wanted, they would do it. On the other hand, the stuff were friendly and if I asked something, they would do. I hoped them to clean and exchange towels, leave bottled water etc. without asking. About the shower, hot water came out only at the beginning for a few minutes, and then the water wasn't hot enough. The hot water at the beginning was too hot to take a shower. I could hear even the sounds of plates and people's talks. If you don't mind the noise and asking to do something, the location is good. The Inn is in front of the ocean. Since the price of the room was affordable, I could endure. If you ask to pick you up in advance, it cost $20. but when I asked a taxi from the hotel to the airport, it cost only $10. Since I didn't take any meals at the inn, I bought food at some restaurants and ate in the room. If someone wants to save money, this is the good way. I think I only spent under $100 for the nine days without the accommodation charge. When I asked to pick me up at the airport, I didn't get any answer from the Inn, but a driver came to look for me to pick me up. I wished they would have given me a reply.

We were so Happy to be the guests of Amber Beach, as the personel treated us in such a good way! They were helpful, helped us to arrange AirPort transfer, Taxi to the city centre, gave us many useful tips and even printed boarding cards. It’s right on the beach in Hulu Male, very clean, and the service is very enthusiastic. You can book a pick-up and drop off when you write an e-mail. We are in Male’ and we will board liveaboard after two days of staying.

We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel is very basic and very small compared to their room rates. Staff manager (a Maldivian / Srilankan guy) at the reception is always grumpy and not welcoming when you ask him anything. Nonetheless, hotel was supposed to arrange transfer from the airport which they didn’t at all. Imagine, you are with the elderly and kids with a big family and hotel forgets to send transport to pick the group up - and not one it happened twice with two of our groups coming in two different timings. The Asian and Bangladesh restaurant waiters were very helpful and thats probably the only positive thing about the hotel. No lifts and staircase is very narrow. Its hard to carry through this way. I wouldn’t recommend to stay here unless you have to.

During the Spring Festival, 5 tickets per night is considered cheap in the vicinity. It can be regarded as an average B&B. The air conditioning is sufficient. It should be an upgraded terrace room. The staff speaks good English. The front desk lady is very friendly. There is an extra child and only 5 dollars for the environmental protection fee. It is cheaper to take a taxi by yourself. The 7-person car from the airport is 15 dollars. There is no elevator under installation, but Xiaohei brother helps with luggage. There is only one staff member on duty for breakfast. It is touching to see him go out to buy a bag and come back to cook it. The child broke a water cup and didn't charge us. We were embarrassed to leave a tip on the table. It is really close to the beach, which is 1 minute walk away. Many people went there after breakfast in the morning. It is no problem to stay overnight. There are more than a dozen people staying at night, all of whom are domestic evening flights.
